PMS 5245 C is frequently specified for signs, displays, and exhibit components when strict brand consistency is required. Because Pantone codes are targets for visual match, not paint formulas, expect some variation across materials and finishes. Always use PMS 5245 C as your visual color reference and sample your selected paint on the actual substrate before proceeding with full production. Assess color appearance under the lighting and finish conditions of the final installation to confirm acceptability for brand-facing applications.

Sheen can noticeably affect how PMS 5245 C is perceived on your installation. Higher gloss finishes may make the color look slightly deeper and can intensify the subtle lavender undertone, while matte finishes often render the shade more neutral and subdued. Choose sheen based on substrate, intended viewing distance, and whether a subdued or more distinct look is needed. If color accuracy is critical, always sample PMS 5245 C on your actual material and inspect under the expected lighting conditions before ordering full quantities.

PMS 5245 C matched paint is custom made to order for each request. Because of this, returns and exchanges are generally not possible if a different finish or color is needed after production. Carefully review all specifications, select the correct format and sheen, and sample the paint when possible before ordering larger amounts. In pop-up or retail environments, PMS 5245 C is often selected for branded elements that need to look consistent across varying substrates. Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

The 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge how much spray you'll need as it is highly dependent on how it is applied. It is better to have too much than run short.
