PMS 331 C is a Pantone PMS system color recognized for its soft, cool-toned appearance. This color projects a vibe that is clean, understated, contemporary, fresh, and airy. Within the Pantone Matching System, it is referenced when a delicate, light turquoise-green presence is required in visual branding or prototype applications.
PMS 331 C appears quite light in value (LRV 72.07). The color has a distinctly cool undertone. PMS 331 C is low in saturation, presenting as delicate rather than vivid. The hue leans towards a blue-green, with a subtle aquatic undertone. This color demonstrates heightened finish sensitivity; gloss and matte finishes will affect perceived vibrancy and depth.
PMS 331 C performs well in environments where a light, contemporary bluish-green is needed to communicate freshness or calm. It is particularly sensitive to lighting and finish; under warm light, the green aspect may increase, while cool lighting emphasizes its blue undertone. Because of its low saturation and lightness, coverage may require multiple coats, especially over darker substrates. Compared to deeper or more saturated turquoise PMS colors, PMS 331 C tends to look more understated and less intense, making it suitable for applications demanding subtlety over vibrancy.
Similar colors:
PMS 324 C is similar but slightly more saturated and vibrant, resulting in a more prominent green presence.
PMS 628 C is lighter and paler, introducing more blue and less green.
PMS 345 C is warmer with a greener cast, making it feel less aquatic and more mint-like.

Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 331 C in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
