PMS 345 C is part of the Pantone PMS (Pantone Matching System) collection and is widely used in professional brand and display applications. This color presents as a soft, minty green characterized by a light, airy vibe with clean, contemporary, technical, and understated qualities. Its balanced hue and moderate saturation make it suitable for applications that require a fresh but not overpowering color presence.
PMS 345 C appears as a light green; the provided LRV of 56.68 indicates moderate to high reflectance. The color is cool-toned, leaning slightly toward blue-green on the color spectrum. PMS 345 C shows a moderate saturation level, providing distinct color without appearing neon or oversaturated. The undertone is subtly bluish, contributing to the color’s crisp, modern effect. The appearance of PMS 345 C can shift slightly depending on finish; glossier finishes will visibly brighten and accentuate its coolness, while matte finishes will soften its vibrancy.
PMS 345 C works effectively in branded environments, exhibits, and design prototypes when a fresh and inviting green is desired without excessive visual weight. It is particularly important to view this color in both the chosen substrate and finish as lightness and chromatic balance may shift with surface sheen and surrounding lighting. When compared to other light mint greens, PMS 345 C offers a slightly crisper, more saturated appearance, but without strong yellow or blue leanings that can dramatically alter functional aesthetics in displays or branded elements.
This Pantone PMS color is defined by the Pantone Matching System standard. Evaluate the color using a physical Pantone reference and a real paint sample in the intended lighting and finish. Paint appearance varies by finish and lighting.

The durability of PMS 345 C spray paint depends on proper substrate preparation, the type of paint system selected, and the environment where it will be used. For best results, choose a paint type that meets your exposure needs, whether for indoor display or outdoor branding. Careful surface prep and the use of an appropriate primer and topcoat can extend performance. Exposure to weather, UV, and handling will all impact the longevity and appearance of the color. Confirm your finish and paint selection with MyPerfectColor to align with brand requirements and project conditions.
To maintain a uniform appearance with PMS 345 C over large surfaces, ensure you use consistent application techniques and tools. Plan your coat schedule so each layer overlaps smoothly and always mix or shake the paint thoroughly before beginning. Because lighter and more saturated Pantone PMS colors can show variation in hide, use enough coats to reach full coverage and avoid patchy spots. Ensure the substrate is clean, smooth, and primed as needed to support even application, and always test a small area first in your intended lighting and finish.
Always verify and specify the complete Pantone code, including the suffix 'C' for PMS 345 C, to ensure you are referencing the correct color standard for your brand or project. Pantone codes can include suffixes or series that affect the exact color target. Confirming the code helps avoid ordering errors and ensures the paint matches the intended reference as required by brand guidelines or designer instructions.
If you are unsure which paint type is most appropriate for PMS 345 C, contact MyPerfectColor with details about your substrate, application method, exposure conditions, and desired finish. Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 345 C in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
