PMS 2925 C is part of the Pantone Matching System (PMS), widely used for specified color control in brand, marketing, and display fabrication. This color exhibits a vibrant, technical, and dynamic character with a distinctly clean and energetic appearance. As a member of the Pantone PMS collection, PMS 2925 C is specified where color fidelity across printed and painted materials is required for visual consistency in brand environments and fabrication.

PMS 2925 C appears as a strongly saturated, medium blue with notable vibrancy. The color registers as cool in temperature, positioned toward the blue segment of the spectrum. PMS 2925 C has moderate chroma; it is noticeably vivid without being overly dark or intense. The undertone of this color is pure blue, with minimal purple or green influence. The color presents as moderately dark, with an LRV of 23.91, providing substantial color presence while not reading as deep or navy. PMS 2925 C can be sensitive to finish; higher-gloss surfaces amplify its saturation, while matte finishes may mute its impact.

PMS 2925 C works effectively in environments where a bold, recognizable blue is needed for brand or visual identification. Expect significant shifts in appearance depending on lighting and finish; under cool lighting, the blue may seem crisper and slightly more intense. As a strong, saturated hue, uniform coverage can require additional coats, particularly over lighter or high-contrast substrates. When specifying alongside similar blues, PMS 2925 C will generally read cleaner and more vibrant compared to options with greater gray or purple content.

Similar colors:
PMS 300 C: Slightly deeper and more chromatic, appearing darker and more intense than PMS 2925 C.

PMS 2935 C: Registers as a deeper blue, with a somewhat more neutral undertone and higher darkness.

PMS 299 C: Lighter and less saturated, providing a softer and more airy blue presence.

PMS 306 C: Lighter and cooler, shifting towards a sky blue effect compared to the boldness of PMS 2925 C.

Frequently Asked Questions About Pantone™ PMS 2925 C

What should I consider when using Pantone PMS 2925 C paint in retail or pop-up environments?

When using PMS 2925 C in retail or pop-up settings, prioritize durability of the chosen paint format and verify that the finish meets your installation needs. Test samples of PMS 2925 C under the lighting expected in your environment, as this blue can appear different depending on light type and intensity. Also, highly saturated colors like PMS 2925 C may require additional coats for even coverage, especially over light or contrasting substrates. Sampling before large-scale application helps avoid surprises with color appearance and finish.

Is Pantone PMS 2925 C paint custom made, and what should I check before placing my order?

All Pantone PMS 2925 C paint from MyPerfectColor is custom made to your specifications. Confirm the exact paint format and sheen you need before ordering. Custom-made colors can be difficult or impossible to revise once produced, so sampling is recommended if you are unsure how PMS 2925 C will appear on your chosen substrate or under your intended lighting. Careful selection at this stage helps ensure the result will meet your expectations and project requirements.

How do I accurately compare Pantone PMS 2925 C samples during color approval for a project?

To compare PMS 2925 C samples effectively, evaluate all samples under the same lighting conditions and on the same type of substrate as your final installation. Let the painted surfaces fully dry and cure before making judgments. Differences in gloss or material can impact how PMS 2925 C appears, so using consistent standards in your review will help ensure color alignment with your brand requirements.

Can I use Pantone PMS 2925 C paint for spot repairs or touch-up on an existing product?

PMS 2925 C paint is formulated for brand color reproduction and visual alignment in displays or installations, not for touch-up or maintenance applications. If you need touch-up-grade results for an existing product, the best approach is to send a physical part for a custom match. Standard Pantone code matching should be used when the goal is brand consistency across new components, not repairing finished items.

How quickly will I receive my paint matched to Pantone PMS 2925 C?
All paint is custom-made to order. While most orders ship within 48 hours, the lead-time for paint made to match Pantone PMS 2925 C depends on the type of paint needed. Interior and exterior house paints usually ship within 1 to 3 business days, while custom spray paint typically takes 3-5 business days to ship. The transit time depends on your location and the shipping method you choose. If your need is immediate, select Expedited Production during checkout. Most expedited production orders ship within 24 hours on business days. Please contact MyPerfectColor if you are concerned about a specific deadline. We do our best to make sure you get your paint on time. Learn more about paint lead times at MyPerfectColor.
Can I use the Pantone PMS 2925 C for touch up?

Unfortunately, no.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 2925 C in paint, we don't provide any crossover information.
