Pantone™ PMS 2935 C

For PMS 2935 C in pop-ups or retail environments, evaluate how the color appears in your specific lighting conditions and on selected materials. Because PMS 2935 C is a vivid, low-LRV blue, lighting can strongly influence its look. Consider durability needs for high-traffic areas; choose paint products with appropriate toughness for display components subject to frequent handling or movement. Sampling is recommended before large-scale installation to confirm color accuracy and finish performance under real operating conditions. Final appearance is affected by both the chosen sheen and the viewing environment.

When specifying PMS 2935 C, gloss and matte finishes create distinct effects. Gloss amplifies color punch and saturation, making the blue appear more vivid but also creating more surface glare, which can distract in direct lighting or with close viewing. Matte reduces glare and reflections but can slightly mute the color's vibrancy, especially from a distance or in dim light. Consider the lighting, viewing distance, and whether punch or subtlety is preferred in your brand display. Sampling both finishes is advised in the intended space before full production.

PMS 2935 C may appear different across substrates due to material absorption, surface texture, and reflectivity. Highly saturated blues like PMS 2935 C are especially sensitive to these effects, which can shift both the depth of color and level of gloss. For brand consistency, always test and view samples on the actual materials planned for use in your display or environment, as even a standard Pantone formulation will show some variation between, for example, metal, plastic, and wood.

Sampling PMS 2935 C is recommended for large, high-visibility installations, projects requiring brand approval, or when using untested lighting conditions or substrates. The vivid, saturated nature of PMS 2935 C means that color perception and coverage may vary more than with neutral colors. Sampling allows you to confirm the appearance and finish under real-world conditions, helping to ensure brand accuracy and avoid costly rework before committing to a full production run.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

The 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge how much spray you'll need as it is highly dependent on how it is applied. It is better to have too much than run short.
