Pantone™ PMS 2365 C

PMS 2365 C is specified according to the Pantone Matching System, which defines the target color but does not specify finish, gloss, or substrate conditions. This means that even if a touch-up is made using a PMS 2365 C formula, the appearance can differ from the original coating due to factors like sheen differences, paint type, and application method. Pantone PMS codes are not strict enough to guarantee a seamless touch-up on existing finishes. For best results on touch-up or repair, use an exact match to the original coating and finish, not a Pantone reference color.

The Safety Data Sheet for a PMS 2365 C paint order depends on the type of paint or product chosen, not the color itself. To locate an SDS, select the specific product format (such as spray paint, paint pen, or epoxy) and refer to the SDS library for that product type. The product page or SDS library will provide details on chemical safety, handling, and compliance for the selected paint.

The perceived color of PMS 2365 C may change depending on the lighting under which it is viewed. Cool, daylight-balanced lighting helps maintain the intended blueish-pink hue of this color. Under warmer or yellow-toned lights, PMS 2365 C may appear less crisp or may lose some of its clean undertone. Always evaluate PMS 2365 C samples under the actual lighting conditions of your space before finalizing your order or approving production.

To ensure an even and consistent appearance of PMS 2365 C on large areas, plan the application process for uniform coverage. Use the same application method and paint type throughout the project. Mix all paint needed for the job to minimize shade variation. Apply multiple thin coats as needed, allowing proper drying between coats to achieve full coverage. Carefully prepare light-colored surfaces to prevent show-through, especially over darker substrates. Testing on a sample panel is recommended before proceeding with full-scale application.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

The 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge how much spray you'll need as it is highly dependent on how it is applied. It is better to have too much than run short.

We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
