PMS 363 U is a Pantone PMS green specified as a standardized color reference for brand and marketing environments. It presents a grounded, assertive, natural, dense, and visually anchored green character.
The color appears dark, with an LRV of 18.43, giving it noticeable depth and visual weight. It reads as slightly cool in temperature, shows a high level of saturation and chroma, and carries a subtle blue-leaning green undertone.
PMS 363 U works well where a strong green presence is needed without reading as bright or light, such as brand displays, signage elements, or dimensional graphics. Its depth can reduce show-through on prepared surfaces, but darker or uneven substrates may still benefit from appropriate priming for consistent appearance. Finish selection and lighting can noticeably affect how dense and cool the green appears, so testing under installed conditions can help confirm expectations.

PMS 363 U is a Pantone PMS color specified in the Uncoated series. Pantone codes can include suffixes like U or C that indicate the reference standard used to define the color.
When ordering paint matched to PMS 363 U, it is important to confirm that your brand standards or project documentation call for the U version specifically. Using the wrong series can result in a noticeable visual difference, even though the base number is the same.
Pantone PMS codes are color targets for visual matching, not paint formulas. Always verify the exact Pantone reference before placing an order.
Paint matched to PMS 363 U is custom made to order based on the Pantone color target. Because it is produced specifically for your order, changes or returns are limited once production begins.
Before ordering, confirm the correct Pantone code and series, the paint format, and the sheen or finish needed for your application. For high visibility or brand critical projects, ordering a sample first can help confirm appearance under your actual lighting and on your chosen substrate.
Careful upfront selection helps avoid delays or rework on time sensitive marketing and display projects.
Surface texture can significantly influence how PMS 363 U appears once applied. Smooth surfaces tend to reflect light more evenly, while textured or porous surfaces create shadowing that can make the same color look darker, lighter, or less saturated.
Because Pantone PMS colors are visual standards, the perceived result depends on how light interacts with the finished surface. Evaluating PMS 363 U on the actual material and texture used in your project is recommended when appearance accuracy is critical.
Coverage per spray can for PMS 363 U is approximate and depends on application method, surface texture, and the number of coats applied. In general, one spray can covers a relatively small area suitable for displays, signage components, or prototype parts.
Highly saturated Pantone colors may require additional coats for uniform coverage, especially on darker or textured substrates. For larger projects, it is usually safer to order extra material to ensure consistent color and finish across all components.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 363 U in paint, we don't provide any crossover information.
