PMS 360 U is a Pantone PMS green commonly specified for brand-driven projects where color accuracy and visual presence matter. It conveys a lively, assertive, modern, high-visibility, and attention-directing vibe without reading as muted or earthy.
The color presents as a medium-light green with a numeric LRV of 39.36. This color reads as slightly warm, leaning toward a yellow-influenced green rather than blue-green.
The color shows high saturation and strong chroma, giving it a bold, eye-catching appearance. This color carries a clean, fresh undertone rather than a gray or muted cast.
The color can appear more intense in higher-sheen finishes and under bright lighting.
PMS 360 U works well in brand-facing displays, signage, and fabricated elements where strong color recognition is important. Because it is a saturated green, it often benefits from a light or white primer to support even coverage and color clarity, especially over darker substrates.
Lighting conditions and finish choice can noticeably affect perceived brightness, so reviewing a painted sample in the intended environment can help avoid surprises.
Similar colors: PMS 361 C: slightly darker and cooler, with a more balanced green character.MyPerfectColor is the official licensee of Pantone and authorized to reproduce the Pantone™ PMS 360 U color in spray paint and other paints.

When approving PMS 360 U, compare samples under consistent lighting and on the same substrate whenever possible. View all samples at the same time rather than relying on memory.
Allow painted samples to fully dry and cure before judging color. Wet or freshly applied coatings can appear darker or more saturated than the final appearance.
If PMS 360 U will be used across multiple materials, evaluate a sample on each material. Pantone PMS is a visual reference, and the same color target can appear different depending on surface texture and finish.
The choice between matte and gloss can significantly affect how PMS 360 U is perceived. Gloss finishes increase color intensity and saturation, which can make the green appear more vivid under good lighting.
Matte finishes reduce glare and reflections, which can help maintain consistent appearance across different viewing angles and lighting conditions.
Consider where and how the color will be viewed. For close viewing or controlled lighting, gloss may provide more punch. For larger displays or variable lighting, matte can offer more predictable results.
Pantone PMS colors like PMS 360 U define a color target only. They do not specify sheen, film thickness, application method, or substrate.
Existing finishes often have aging, texture, and gloss differences that strongly influence appearance. Matching only to a Pantone reference cannot account for those variables.
For existing painted surfaces, a sample or OEM match based on the actual coating will provide more reliable visual alignment than a Pantone PMS reference.
Whether a primer is needed for PMS 360 U depends on the substrate, the paint type, and the exposure conditions. Bare, porous, or high-contrast surfaces often benefit from a primer to improve adhesion and color uniformity.
Highly saturated colors like PMS 360 U may also require a suitable base to achieve even coverage and consistent appearance.
If you are unsure, review the substrate and application details before ordering or request guidance based on the specific material you plan to paint.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

It sticks well to most surfaces including metal, plastics, powder-coatings, cabinets and primed or previously painted wood.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 360 U in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
