Pantone™ PMS 2767 U

When approving PMS 2767 U, compare samples under the same lighting where the finished piece will be used. Lighting differences can noticeably change how deep blues and violets are perceived.

Apply samples to the same substrate and with the same sheen you plan to use in production. Differences in surface or finish can make PMS 2767 U appear darker or more saturated.

Allow the paint to fully dry and cure before making a final decision. Freshly applied coatings can look slightly different than fully cured ones, especially with darker Pantone colors.

As a general planning estimate, one spray can of PMS 2767 U covers about 8 to 12 square feet with a single coat. Actual coverage depends on surface texture, spray technique, and how heavily the paint is applied.

Darker and more saturated Pantone colors like PMS 2767 U may require multiple coats for uniform color and hide. If your surface is porous or uneven, plan for additional paint to achieve consistent results.

For larger projects, it is usually safer to round up the number of cans to avoid mid-project shortages and potential batch differences.

PMS 2767 U is matched to the Pantone reference, but small visual differences can occur between production runs. This is normal for custom-matched paint colors.

To keep results as consistent as possible, reorder the same product type and sheen each time. Changing formats or finishes can alter how PMS 2767 U appears.

For high-visibility or brand-critical work, keep an approved physical sample and use it as the visual reference for future orders and comparisons.

PMS 2767 U can be produced in paint types intended for interior or exterior use. The right choice depends on where and how the painted item will be exposed.

For interior displays, exhibits, or branded environments, select a product designed for indoor use and visual accuracy. For outdoor signage or installations, choose an exterior-rated option that can better handle sunlight and weather.

The Pantone code defines the color target, not the durability. Always select the paint type based on exposure and performance needs first, then evaluate the color match in that product.

Unfortunately, no.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

The 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge how much spray you'll need as it is highly dependent on how it is applied. It is better to have too much than run short.

We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
