Pantone™ PMS 2613 U

PMS 2613 U is a Pantone PMS color used as a visual reference standard for brand consistency. It is appropriate when your project specifies a Pantone color for signage, display elements, or exhibit components and visual alignment to the brand standard is the goal.

Because Pantone is a color target and not a paint formula, appearance can vary by substrate, finish, and lighting. For high visibility or client approved work, it is best to review a sample of PMS 2613 U applied to the actual material before committing to full production.

PMS 2613 U is a saturated Pantone color, and colors in this range often have lower hide. This means you may need additional coats to achieve uniform coverage, especially on lighter or contrasting substrates.

Using an appropriate undercoat can improve consistency and reduce the total number of color coats required. Planning for coverage up front helps avoid uneven appearance when PMS 2613 U is used on display or exhibit surfaces.

A spray paint matched to PMS 2613 U is intended for visual brand accuracy rather than permanent durability by default. Actual performance depends on surface preparation, the paint type selected, and whether a protective topcoat is used.

For installations exposed to handling or environmental stress, choose a paint system appropriate for those conditions and confirm appearance with a sample. Pantone matched spray paint should be evaluated as part of a complete system, not as a standalone durability solution.

When ordering PMS 2613 U, the Pantone code defines the color target, but the paint type determines where and how it can be used. For interior applications, select a paint type suited to controlled environments and the intended substrate.

For exterior or mixed exposure projects, choose a paint system designed for outdoor conditions and confirm that PMS 2613 U meets your visual expectations in that formulation. Reviewing samples under expected lighting and exposure conditions is recommended before final ordering.

Unfortunately, no.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

The 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge how much spray you'll need as it is highly dependent on how it is applied. It is better to have too much than run short.

We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
