PMS 7722 C is part of the Pantone PMS (Pantone Matching System) collection, developed for exacting color communication in brand and marketing applications. The color presents a strong, bluish-green character with a deep and technical vibe. It appears modern, saturated, and assertive, with a distinctly cool undertone. The finish will impact its perceived brightness and depth, especially in high-gloss or matte situations.

PMS 7722 C appears distinctly dark; it has a low light reflectance value (LRV: 6.48), resulting in minimal light bounce. The color has a cool overall temperature, leaning toward blue-green. It displays high chroma and saturation in context, delivering vivid, concentrated color. The undertone is definitively blue, contributing to its technical and assertive appearance. The color is sensitive to surface finish; gloss levels can alter the perceived richness and depth.

PMS 7722 C is often used in branding for durable graphics, signage, and trade show components where deep, cool greens are specified. The color is routinely found in corporate identity systems requiring consistent reproduction of this unique blue-green hue.

PMS 7722 C works well for brand visuals that demand a saturated, contemporary, and eye-catching green. Careful consideration should be given to lighting—cool, directional, or daylight-balanced lighting may enhance its vibrancy, while warm or low light can mute the tone. Owing to its darkness and chroma, coverage may require multiple coats on light substrates and careful surface prep to avoid unevenness. Compared to other similarly saturated colors, PMS 7722 C will generally appear cooler and deeper, without the warmth or neutrality present in some green alternatives.

This Pantone PMS color is defined by the Pantone Matching System standard. Evaluate the color using a physical Pantone reference and a real paint sample in the intended lighting and finish. Paint appearance varies by finish and lighting.

Frequently Asked Questions About Pantone™ PMS 7722 C

How is Pantone PMS 7722 C commonly used in branding and real-world applications?

Pantone PMS 7722 C is frequently specified for branding elements where a deep, modern bluish-green is required. It is found in signage, trade show displays, and corporate identity systems that demand visual consistency across materials and environments. When brand guidelines call for saturated, cool greens, PMS 7722 C helps ensure a unified appearance in marketing campaigns and physical brand experiences.

What should I know before ordering Pantone PMS 7722 C paint, given it is matched to order?

Pantone PMS 7722 C paint is custom made to your specifications. This means product type and sheen cannot be changed after production, and returns are not accepted except for quality issues. Review your project requirements carefully, choose the correct paint format and sheen, and consider sampling if you are uncertain. This ensures color, finish, and performance match your expectations in the final application.

How can Pantone PMS 7722 C support prototype or concept model work?

Pantone PMS 7722 C is often used in prototypes and concept models where visual brand alignment is critical. Selecting this exact color allows teams to evaluate designs with accurate brand color representation. It is recommended to sample in the intended finish and lighting before full production, and to use a physical Pantone reference during review to confirm brand alignment.

What is the best way to apply spray paint matched to Pantone PMS 7722 C for even color?

For Pantone PMS 7722 C, apply multiple thin coats of spray paint, allowing adequate drying or flash time between coats. This helps achieve even coverage and true color saturation, especially since this color is dark and highly saturated. Rushing the process or using heavy coats may cause unevenness or impact the final appearance. Always test on a sample surface first to confirm finish and coverage.

How quickly will I receive my paint matched to Pantone PMS 7722 C?
All paint is custom-made to order. While most orders ship within 48 hours, the lead-time for paint made to match Pantone PMS 7722 C depends on the type of paint needed. Interior and exterior house paints usually ship within 1 to 3 business days, while custom spray paint typically takes 3-5 business days to ship. The transit time depends on your location and the shipping method you choose. If your need is immediate, select Expedited Production during checkout. Most expedited production orders ship within 24 hours on business days. Please contact MyPerfectColor if you are concerned about a specific deadline. Can I use the Pantone PMS 7722 C for touch up?

Unfortunately, no.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.
