PMS 3425 C, part of the Pantone PMS collection, is recognized for its rich, saturated green character. The color presents as strong, professional, balanced, and natural, with visual impact suitable for high-visibility branded and corporate environments. PMS 3425 C gives a sense of stability and reliability, fitting well into applications demanding distinctiveness and seriousness.
PMS 3425 C registers as a dark shade; its reflectance is low (LRV 9.01). The color shows a cool green tendency with noticeable blue undertones. Saturation is high, producing vivid color intensity. Undertones are cool, with a distinctly green hue featuring slight blue influence. The color may appear deeper and more intense in glossier finishes and darker or muted under matte conditions.
PMS 3425 C is often used for merchandise, display systems, and signage where a strong, institutional green is specified. This color is widely cited in branding and corporate environments requiring a stable, recognizable green.
PMS 3425 C works well when a bold, confident green is required that can withstand a variety of lighting conditions without appearing washed out. Due to its dark value and high saturation, coverage may require multiple coats, especially over lighter substrates. Surface preparation and finish selection can strongly influence appearance, with glossier finishes enhancing vibrancy and matte finishes rendering the color more subdued. When evaluating alongside other greens, PMS 3425 C typically maintains higher chroma and a deeper shade, providing more visual weight in compositions.
This Pantone PMS color is defined by the Pantone Matching System standard. Evaluate the color using a physical Pantone reference and a real paint sample in the intended lighting and finish. Paint appearance varies by finish and lighting.

The durability of PMS 3425 C spray paint depends on several factors, including proper surface preparation, the type of substrate, use of primer, and whether a protective topcoat is applied. Exposure conditions such as weather, sunlight, or chemical contact can also impact longevity. For applications needing higher durability or outdoor performance, choose a coating type and topcoat suitable for the intended environment. Testing on your specific substrate in both chosen finish and lighting is recommended.
PMS 3425 C is available in several formats, including spray paint, paint pens, brush-in-cap bottles, and select other coatings. Custom spray paint is commonly chosen for displays, prototypes, and branded environments. Paint pens and brush-in-cap bottles allow for smaller areas or detailed work. The best format depends on your project's size, substrate, and application method. Review your brand requirements and select the product format that matches your application needs.
The appearance of PMS 3425 C can change based on the texture of the surface. Smooth, glossy finishes reflect more light, making the green appear deeper and more vibrant. Matte or rough surfaces scatter light, which can make the color look slightly lighter or less intense. Always evaluate painted samples in the intended finish and lighting to confirm the final look meets your expectations for brand consistency.
For PMS 3425 C spray paint, apply multiple thin coats instead of a single heavy coat. Allow each coat to dry as directed before applying the next. This approach improves coverage, reduces the chance of runs, and helps achieve uniform color and finish, especially with highly saturated colors. Test in advance to confirm results on your chosen substrate and finish.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 3425 C in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
