PMS 7565 C (Pantone Matching System) is a warm, moderate-lightness brown widely recognized for its grounded, natural, and stable appearance. The color’s vibe is earthy, authentic, reliable, and subdued, making it suitable for environments or graphics where terrestrial, approachable characteristics are desired.
PMS 7565 C presents as a medium to medium-dark brown. The color has a warm temperature, with clear earthy undertones. It displays moderate chroma, giving a notably saturated appearance without being intense or primary. Undertones include a subtle golden or ochre quality, reflecting a natural or wood-like impression. LRV of 26.79 indicates moderate reflectance; it will appear visibly darker in lower ambient light. This color’s saturation and undertone are consistent across common print and paint finishes but may shift perceptibly with gloss or lighting.
PMS 7565 C performs well when a natural, woodlike, or organic brown is required for branding, displays, or environmental graphics. Its moderate chroma and warmth allow it to function both as a background or accent, without overwhelming adjacent colors or graphics. When using PMS 7565 C in paint applications, expect visible depth and warmth under both direct and diffuse lighting. Surfaces should be properly primed, as saturated browns can sometimes require additional coats for consistent coverage, especially over contrasting base colors. The color is less likely to be affected by minor finish changes than more vivid hues, but gloss levels will influence perceived richness and depth.

PMS 7565 C is a specific Pantone Matching System color and does not reliably convert to other paint brand collections. Most paint brands use unique palettes and formulations, so a direct crossover is not available. For projects requiring this exact color, order PMS 7565 C by code to ensure alignment with brand standards.
Paint matched to PMS 7565 C is intended for brand color reproduction in marketing, display, and prototype applications, not for touch-up. If you need a touch-up-grade match to an existing painted surface, send a physical part for matching instead of relying solely on the Pantone code. This approach helps achieve the closest possible result for specific substrates and finishes.
Yes, Pantone PMS codes like PMS 7565 C often include suffixes such as C, U, or M that indicate the intended reference standard. To ensure you receive the correct version for your brand or project, always confirm the exact code and suffix from your documentation or brand standards before ordering.
Sampling PMS 7565 C is recommended if your project involves high-visibility branding, large installations, or custom lighting and substrates that could affect the color's appearance. Testing a sample on the actual substrate and under project lighting allows you to confirm brand consistency before full production.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 7565 C in paint, we don't provide any crossover information.
