Pantone® PMS 7563 C. Paint And Spray Paint. MyPerfectColor is the official licensee of Pantone and authorized to reproduce the Pantone Matching System colors in spray paint and other paints.

PMS 7563 C, part of the Pantone Matching System, is often described as a robust, earthy, and practical color choice. Its balanced yellow-brown cast imparts an industrial, reliable, and grounded impression. This color is functional and assertive, neither overly pale nor dark, and is used where clear visual identity and material presence are needed.

- PMS 7563 C appears as a medium-dark yellow-brown. - The color has a moderate LRV (37.6), making it middle-valued in terms of light reflectance—neither very bright nor notably deep. - The hue tends toward the warm spectrum, consistent with its brown and golden-yellow undertones. - Saturation is medium to moderately strong; the color is assertive but not neon-vivid. - The undertone is distinctly yellow, with a muted warmth rather than orange or red tilt. - This color’s chromatic qualities can cause perceptible shifts under different lighting types, especially cool versus warm illumination.

PMS 7563 C is operationally useful in environments where a recognizable, earthy, and credible color is needed. It performs well in brand-driven settings, signage, and industrial components where visual identity demands a yellow-brown that is neither overtly flashy nor generic. When specifying PMS 7563 C, validate samples under the prevailing lighting, as finish and light sources affect its apparent warmth and depth. Coverage and opacity may vary with substrate and application; more saturated yellows and browns sometimes require attentive priming for uniform results. Compared to similar colors, PMS 7563 C stands out as less saturated than bright yellows and deeper than tan or camel hues, providing visual weight without veering into darkness.

Similar colors:
PMS 7559 C – Lighter and slightly more yellow, resulting in a softer, less robust appearance.

PMS 7570 C – Darker and richer, with a stronger brown note and greater depth.

PMS 1245 C – Warmer and more golden, displaying higher chromaticity and a less earthy presence.

Frequently Asked Questions About Pantone™ PMS 7563 C

How does surface texture impact how Pantone PMS 7563 C appears when painted?

The appearance of Pantone PMS 7563 C can change noticeably depending on surface texture. On a smooth surface, the color may appear richer and more even, emphasizing its yellow-brown tone. If applied to a textured or matte surface, PMS 7563 C can look slightly duller or deeper due to increased light absorption and shadowing. Glossy or flat finishes will also affect perceived brightness and warmth. For critical brand applications, always confirm color samples on the actual finish and surface type you plan to use, as texture can make PMS 7563 C look lighter, darker, or shift in saturation compared to a color chip or digital image.

What are the steps to order paint matched to Pantone PMS 7563 C on MyPerfectColor?

To order paint matched to Pantone PMS 7563 C, first select the desired paint format such as spray paint, paint pen, or another available option suited to your application needs. Next, choose the sheen level and the quantity you require. Be careful to review whether your project needs a particular finish or durability. Before completing your order, double-check you have chosen PMS 7563 C as the reference and confirm all project requirements, such as indoor or outdoor use. If exact appearance is critical for your brand standard, consider requesting a sample before placing a large order or using on high-profile displays.

What should I expect for durability when using spray paint matched to Pantone PMS 7563 C?

Durability of spray paint matched to Pantone PMS 7563 C depends on the surface preparation, paint formulation, and whether a protective topcoat is used. For best results, apply the paint to a properly cleaned and primed substrate. In outdoor or high-contact environments, adding a compatible clear topcoat can help extend longevity and maintain color accuracy under exposure. Consider the intended use and exposure conditions when selecting paint type and additional coatings. For projects where consistent appearance over time is important, consult all surface and exposure details before ordering.

What coverage or undercoat strategies do I need for Pantone PMS 7563 C paint?

Pantone PMS 7563 C, as a medium-dark yellow-brown, may require specific preparation for even coverage-especially on contrasting or porous surfaces. Using an appropriate undercoat, such as a tinted primer that is close to the final color, can help achieve uniform results and reduce the number of coats needed. For projects prioritizing brand accuracy, plan for two or more coats of PMS 7563 C paint over a suitable primer to minimize show-through and ensure full color depth. Always allow adequate drying between layers to maintain a smooth, consistent finish.

Can I use the Pantone PMS 7563 C for touch up?

Unfortunately, no.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.
