Pantone™ PMS 1245 C

PMS 1245 C is commonly specified for signage, displays, and exhibition fabrication because it is a standardized Pantone PMS color, making it an accessible and repeatable target for brand consistency. Choosing PMS 1245 C ensures that all fabricated elements visually align with brand guidelines and produces a cohesive appearance across components, vendors, or locations. For critical projects, it is good practice to sample PMS 1245 C on the intended substrate and finish before full production to confirm acceptance under real-world lighting conditions.

Paint matched to PMS 1245 C is made to order, and typical production lead times depend on the specific format requested and current production volume. Spray paint and specialty finishes may have different timelines. For most orders, allow several business days for production before shipping. If you are working to a fixed marketing or installation schedule, it is best to check lead time at the time of order and to order as early as possible.

PMS 1245 C is a muted golden yellow with moderate saturation, which can be impacted by the underlying surface and the selected sheen. While not as challenging as highly saturated or neon yellows, even medium-dark yellows may require more than one coat to achieve consistent and even color, especially over contrasting primers or surfaces. For best results, apply PMS 1245 C over a uniform primed base, and plan for multiple coats if full hide is required for brand-facing projects.

Ordering a standard Pantone PMS 1245 C match is appropriate when visual brand alignment is the primary goal, such as for displays, signage, exhibit components, marketing installations, or prototypes where the Pantone color reference is the required standard. It is the correct choice when reproducing a consistent and recognizable brand appearance matters more than matching a specific previous coating or addressing substrate-specific variation. For projects with strict appearance approvals or multi-material installations, confirm appearance with samples first.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

The 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge how much spray you'll need as it is highly dependent on how it is applied. It is better to have too much than run short.
