PMS 2276 C from the Pantone PMS collection is a distinctly green hue with a saturated, chromatic presence. The color reads as clean, energetic, and direct with a slightly cool tendency. It is commonly used in environments requiring immediate visual recognition, such as marketing displays or branded fixtures. The vibe is purposeful, modern, practical, and vivid.

PMS 2276 C appears as a medium-depth color, delivering moderate visual lightness (LRV 33.89). The color has a cool to neutral undertone, with its position on the hue angle reinforcing a true green impression. PMS 2276 C is highly saturated, presenting strong chroma and noticeable color intensity. The undertone is direct green, with minimal yellow or blue influence. The appearance may shift based on finish; gloss levels can accentuate saturation and perceived vibrancy, while matte finishes tend to mute the shade.

PMS 2276 C works effectively in applications demanding reliable color impact and brand consistency, such as exhibit pieces or retail elements. Users should evaluate this color under intended lighting, as greens can appear noticeably cooler or warmer depending on ambient sources. High saturation may necessitate additional coats for uniform coverage, especially over light or contrasting substrates. The color can read more vibrant than less chromatic greens, and finish selection will influence both depth and reflectivity.

Similar colors:
PMS 2268 C is lighter with a more subdued, softer green impression.

PMS 2277 C is darker and has a marginally cooler, blue-leaning undertone.

PMS 355 C is even more chromatic and slightly warmer, with a higher visual intensity.

Frequently Asked Questions About Pantone™ PMS 2276 C

How can I ensure batch-to-batch color consistency when reordering Pantone PMS 2276 C paint?

To maintain color consistency with PMS 2276 C on repeat orders, it is important to use the same product type and sheen, order from the same supplier, and reference the same approval standard each time. Differences in paint formulation, application method, or finish can result in noticeable shifts in appearance. Always confirm that the product format and finish (such as gloss or matte) match your initial approved sample to best align with your brand standards.

When do I need a primer for PMS 2276 C paint applications?

A primer may be necessary when applying PMS 2276 C paint if you are painting over bare substrates like metal, plastic, or unfinished wood, or if strong adhesion and uniform color coverage are important. Highly saturated greens such as PMS 2276 C can require a primer to prevent color bleed-through and to promote even hide, especially over light or uneven surfaces. Be sure to choose a primer compatible with both your substrate and the type of paint format ordered.

How is PMS 2276 C used in prototypes and concept models for brand evaluation?

PMS 2276 C is often selected for prototypes or concept models when you need to demonstrate visual brand alignment before final production. Selecting a paint format like spray paint or paint pens allows for practical application on mockups or displays. For best evaluation, use consistent lighting and finish, and apply enough coats to achieve solid color coverage. This helps stakeholders assess how the green will appear in real brand contexts.

How do I choose the right PMS 2276 C paint for interior versus exterior use?

For PMS 2276 C, select your paint type based on where and how the branded element will be displayed. If the application is outdoors or exposed to weather, opt for a format rated for exterior use to ensure durability and color stability. For interior displays or retail environments, an interior-rated version is typically sufficient and may offer more sheen options. Always confirm that your chosen product type aligns with the exposure and performance demands of your project.

How quickly will I receive my paint matched to Pantone PMS 2276 C?
All paint is custom-made to order. While most orders ship within 48 hours, the lead-time for paint made to match Pantone PMS 2276 C depends on the type of paint needed. Interior and exterior house paints usually ship within 1 to 3 business days, while custom spray paint typically takes 3-5 business days to ship. The transit time depends on your location and the shipping method you choose. If your need is immediate, select Expedited Production during checkout. Most expedited production orders ship within 24 hours on business days. Please contact MyPerfectColor if you are concerned about a specific deadline. Can I use the Pantone PMS 2276 C for touch up?

Unfortunately, no.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.
