PMS 2262 C is a Pantone Matching System (PMS) standard color recognized for its distinctly saturated, mid-tone green appearance. Within the Pantone PMS collection, it supports environments where brand consistency, technical clarity, and visual energy are essential. The overall vibe of PMS 2262 C is vivid, direct, energetic, technical, and attention-getting, making it operationally useful wherever clear color distinction is required.
PMS 2262 C presents as a medium-light green, with a light reflectance value (LRV) of 36.89. The color displays a cool tendency, influenced by a green hue with slight blue bias. The color exhibits moderate to high saturation, delivering significant chromatic intensity. This color maintains a pure green undertone with minimal yellow or blue shift under typical lighting. The color’s appearance can shift in gloss or sheen; higher-gloss finishes may intensify saturation and perceptual brightness.
PMS 2262 C is often specified for branding elements in pop-up retail, mobile displays, and event signage needing a vivid, recognizable green.
PMS 2262 C is operationally suited for projects that demand bright, brand-driven green surfaces where accurate color matching to Pantone references is required. It is most effective in applications using direct lighting and smooth, well-prepared substrates to maximize color saturation and evenness. Users should account for finish sensitivity, as gloss and sheen choices can affect perceived lightness and vibrancy. Compared with other greens in the PMS system, this color maintains a strong chromatic signature without significant yellowing or dulling, but may reveal minor undertone shifts depending on lighting type (such as daylight vs. cool LED).
This Pantone PMS color is defined by the Pantone Matching System standard. Evaluate the color using a physical Pantone reference and a real paint sample in the intended lighting and finish. Paint appearance varies by finish and lighting.

The durability of PMS 2262 C spray paint depends on surface preparation, paint system, and environmental exposure. For indoor, brand-facing applications, proper substrate prep typically results in reliable performance and visual consistency. For environments with handling, outdoor exposure, or physical wear, consider applying a compatible clear topcoat for added protection. Always choose a paint formulation that aligns with your project setting and confirm if additional durability is required for shipping, frequent handling, or exterior installation.
PMS 2262 C can be ordered in paint types formulated for either interior or exterior projects. For indoor branding and displays, standard interior paint or spray paint often meets visual requirements. For installations exposed to weather, UV, or heavy handling, order exterior-rated paint for improved durability. Confirm site-specific needs before selecting, as using an interior-only product outdoors may result in faded or degraded color appearance over time.
Specifying the exact PMS code including suffixes, such as PMS 2262 C, is essential when ordering paint for brand-focused projects. The suffix (such as 'C' for coated) distinguishes the color standard, which can affect appearance and acceptance. Always verify the correct code from your brand guidelines or documentation to ensure you receive the intended match for your application.
PMS 2262 C paint is matched to the Pantone PMS standard and is best used for new branding, display, or prototype applications where visual brand match is the priority. For precise touch-up of existing finishes, especially if color must align with aged, coated, or non-Pantone surfaces, send a physical part so a match can be custom formulated to your exact sample. Standard PMS paint is not optimized for part-specific blending or repair.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.
