Pantone™ PMS 7469 C

To help maintain consistent results when reordering PMS 7469 C, always order the same product type, sheen, and application method as your original project. Confirm your reference standard and, if possible, retain a painted sample from the first run for approval. Changes in finish or product can affect how PMS 7469 C appears, so consistent selection is key to visually uniform branding across repeat orders.

For PMS 7469 C, plan to apply multiple even coats and use consistent technique across the entire surface. This color has high saturation and low light reflectance, so patchy application or uneven coverage may be more noticeable. Apply over a primed or neutral base for best results, and complete each coat without long delays between sections to minimize lap marks. Test your process on a smaller section first if possible.

The sheen you choose for PMS 7469 C can change its perceived brightness, depth, and saturation. Gloss finishes tend to make the color appear deeper and more vivid, accentuating its blue-green undertone, while matte finishes will reduce reflectivity and can make the color look more subdued. Consider your lighting conditions and branding goals when selecting a sheen, and always test under intended lighting to confirm the final appearance.

A typical spray can of PMS 7469 C covers about 20 to 25 square feet per coat, depending on technique and surface texture. Because PMS 7469 C is dark and highly saturated, you may need two or more coats for uniform color. Always factor in the number of coats and add extra for complex surfaces or samples. If coverage is critical for your installation, run a test section before placing your full order.

Unfortunately, no.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.
