PMS 9064 C is a Pantone Matching System color defined as a pale yellow-green with a restrained, quiet character. Within the Pantone PMS system, it conveys an airy, clean, and understated visual tone rather than strong color emphasis.
The color appears very light, with an LRV of 85.27. It reads slightly cool due to its yellow-green hue bias and has low saturation, resulting in a soft, muted appearance. A faint green undertone sits beneath a light yellow cast, and higher-sheen finishes can make surface irregularities more noticeable.
PMS 9064 C works well in brand environments where a light, fresh background is needed without strong chromatic impact. Because of its lightness and low saturation, consistent priming and careful surface preparation can help reduce uneven appearance. Lighting conditions and finish choice can noticeably influence whether the color reads more green or more neutral.
Similar colors:
Pantone 580 C: slightly warmer and more yellow, with less green influence.
Pantone 7499 C: a bit darker and more natural, with increased earthy warmth.
Pantone 7485 C: more saturated and greener, with clearer color presence.

Pantone PMS 9064 C identifies a specific color target for consistent brand reproduction but does not include detailed information about sheen, substrate, or the original coating process. This means specifying PMS 9064 C for touching up existing finishes may result in visible mismatches, since the precise appearance can change based on gloss, material, and environmental exposure. If continuity is critical, especially on installed products, consult your original coating supplier or evaluate a custom match based on an actual substrate sample.
For the most accurate and even coverage when using spray paint matched to Pantone PMS 9064 C, apply multiple thin coats instead of one heavy coat. Allow time between each coat for the surface to dry or flash, as this reduces the risk of runs or unevenness. Following this process helps achieve strong visual consistency and reduces color variation from application errors.
Pantone PMS 9064 C is used as a visual reference to create reliable color consistency for brands across a range of marketing assets, displays, and branded environments. Specifying PMS 9064 C ensures that vendors and production teams match the same color target, supporting a unified visual identity even when projects use different materials or production methods.
Before committing to a full production run in Pantone PMS 9064 C, order a small paint sample and apply it to the actual substrate under the expected installation or display lighting. Reviewing an approved sample helps ensure the finished product achieves your intended brand appearance and reduces the risk of costly rework or misalignment with brand standards.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

It sticks well to most surfaces including metal, plastics, powder-coatings, cabinets and primed or previously painted wood.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 9064 C in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
