PMS 876 C in a paint format is matched to the Pantone book standard, but the final appearance can differ due to factors like paint sheen, application method, and substrate. The Pantone book uses printed ink swatches under controlled conditions, while paint can look different depending on gloss level and the surface it is applied to. For best results, sample PMS 876 C paint on the actual material and view it under installation lighting before making production decisions.

When specifying PMS 876 C, select an interior paint type for environments not exposed to weather, moisture, or UV. Choose an exterior paint type if the color will be exposed outdoors or needs extra durability against sunlight and the elements. Confirm the correct product format with your project requirements so that PMS 876 C provides both visual brand consistency and the right level of protection where it will be used.

Safety and VOC levels for PMS 876 C paint depend on the specific product type you select, such as spray paint or housepaint. Always review the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for the product you order and follow all recommended safety practices, including proper ventilation and protective equipment. Confirm local requirements for VOC limits and safe handling, especially in enclosed or public spaces.

For best results with PMS 876 C, clean and degrease the surface so it is free of dirt, oil, and loose material. Where appropriate, lightly scuff non-porous or glossy surfaces to improve paint adhesion. Testing a small area first is recommended to confirm the final look and adhesion. Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

The 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge how much spray you'll need as it is highly dependent on how it is applied. It is better to have too much than run short.
