For indoor branded displays or signage, standard application with good prep and an appropriate clear coat often provides reliable results. For environments with heavy wear or outdoor exposure, select a paint system rated for those conditions and consider using a protective clear topcoat. Always evaluate your requirements and discuss exposure needs before placing your order to ensure the right paint solution for PMS 675 C.

PMS 675 C can be applied to certain plastics, but plastic types vary widely in their ability to accept paint. Many plastics and low-energy surfaces, such as polyethylene or polypropylene, require special primers to achieve proper adhesion. Before full production, test PMS 675 C paint and any primers directly on a sample of your material. This confirmation step helps identify potential adhesion issues and ensures visually consistent results for your branded project.

The appearance of PMS 675 C can change across different materials due to factors such as surface absorption, texture, and reflectivity. A color may appear darker, glossier, or more muted on metal versus plastic or wood. Material and finish can both shift the perceived color, especially for vivid shades like PMS 675 C. To achieve brand consistency, evaluate PMS 675 C on the actual substrate and finish in your intended environment before final production. This helps prevent costly surprises in the finished installation.

PMS 675 C is intended as a standardized reference for achieving brand color consistency in new displays, signage, or prototypes. For touch-up-grade results or matching an existing finish on a specific part, a Pantone match alone is not recommended. Instead, send a sample of your actual part to be matched. This approach ensures the new paint aligns closely with your surface, finish, and color under your specific conditions.

Unfortunately, no.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

The 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge how much spray you'll need as it is highly dependent on how it is applied. It is better to have too much than run short.

We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
