PMS 633 C is a Pantone Matching System (PMS) color from the Pantone PMS collection, widely used for brand and environmental specification in marketing, display fabrication, and industrial design. The color presents as a rich, clean, technical blue with visually cool undertones, direct and assertive presence, and relatively deep character compared to lighter blues.
PMS 633 C displays as a distinctly medium-dark blue, with lower light reflectance (LRV: 14.54). The color has a pronounced cool tendency, dominated by blue notes with no noticeable warmth. Saturation is clearly high, yielding a vivid and chromatic appearance suited for impactful identity work. An underlying, subtle greenish undertone may become apparent depending on lighting and finish. The color is finish sensitive; higher gloss intensifies both color depth and chroma, while matte finishes reduce vibrancy.
PMS 633 C works well in applications that require bold brand presence and precise color reproduction, such as exhibit signage, branded displays, and prototypes. Evaluate under intended lighting conditions, as the vividness and undertone can shift with ambient color temperature or finish choice. Its high saturation may show reduced coverage compared to less chromatic blues, so multiple coats and attention to substrate preparation may be necessary for full, even opacity. When compared to other similar blues, it tends to present as deeper and slightly cooler.
This Pantone PMS color is defined by the Pantone Matching System standard. Evaluate the color using a physical Pantone reference and a real paint sample in the intended lighting and finish. Paint appearance varies by finish and lighting.

Pantone PMS 633 C is a highly saturated, medium-dark blue designed for strong visual impact in brand and display contexts. Matching this color in paint can be challenging because vivid hues like PMS 633 C often look different depending on gloss, substrate, and lighting. MyPerfectColor uses advanced equipment and strict controls to deliver results closely aligned with the Pantone PMS 633 C standard, but there will always be some variation compared to ink or digital versions. For best results, always compare painted samples to a physical Pantone reference in the intended finish and lighting environment.
Primer is recommended for PMS 633 C when painting over bare, porous, or uneven surfaces and when maximum color accuracy or coverage is required. Saturated blues like PMS 633 C can show reduced hide, so starting with a suitable primer helps achieve a uniform, vibrant finish and correct color appearance. Primer choice should match both the substrate (such as metal, plastic, or wood) and the selected paint type. If you are unsure, review primer selection resources or contact MyPerfectColor with your project details for guidance.
Pantone PMS 633 C is a standardized color in the Pantone Matching System, which is distinct from traditional paint brand collections. Because most paint brands develop their own palettes, direct cross-references for PMS 633 C are rarely exact, especially for strong, vivid blues. If your brand or display specification requires PMS 633 C, order paints matched specifically to this Pantone code instead of trying to substitute with another company's color.
Sampling PMS 633 C is strongly recommended for high-visibility branding projects, large installations, or whenever lighting and substrate could influence the final appearance. Because PMS 633 C is highly saturated and finish sensitive, testing a sample lets you verify color and coverage on your actual material and under your lighting. This helps avoid surprises and ensures the final result meets brand expectations before you proceed with full production or installation.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 633 C in paint, we don't provide any crossover information.
