PMS 413 C is part of the Pantone Matching System (Pantone PMS) collection, designed for consistent brand and display color communication. The color presents a muted, cool gray appearance with a balanced, restrained quality suitable for environments requiring subtlety, cleanliness, and professionalism. Its vibe is technical, versatile, understated, stable, and businesslike.
PMS 413 C reads as a mid-light gray with moderate brightness (LRV 58.47). The color tends toward a cool temperature, leaning slightly bluish-green in undertone. PMS 413 C has low chroma, making it subdued and not visually assertive. The undertone skews subtle blue-green, preventing yellowing or warmth. The color generally maintains neutrality across common finishes, but its coolness can amplify in gloss or under indirect daylight.
PMS 413 C is frequently referenced in branding literature as a secondary palette color for institutions prioritizing technical professionalism.
PMS 413 C is operationally effective when a brand requires a neutral, non-distracting background or wants to balance more saturated identity colors. It performs well in environments needing clarity without visual weight. Watch for lighting conditions—cool lighting enhances its bluish undertone, while warm lighting can create a greenish-cast. Surface prep matters less than with highly chromatic colors, but finish selection will subtly shift the perceived coolness. Compared to darker or more saturated grays, PMS 413 C remains visually quiet, with less risk of overtone interference or color shift.
This Pantone PMS color is defined by the Pantone Matching System standard. Evaluate the color using a physical Pantone reference and a real paint sample in the intended lighting and finish. Paint appearance varies by finish and lighting.

PMS 413 C is a standardized Pantone PMS color, and MyPerfectColor matches it using both digital and physical Pantone references. While PMS 413 C is a mid-light, muted gray and is less challenging than vivid hues, subtle differences can still occur due to paint base, substrate, and finish. For brand and marketing applications, evaluating PMS 413 C samples under actual lighting and finish is recommended to ensure the result meets expectations. Absolute matching is not guaranteed across all materials, but the service is designed for a high degree of visual alignment for brand-correct outcomes.
One 11-ounce spray can of PMS 413 C covers about 20 square feet with one coat under typical conditions. Actual coverage can vary depending on the texture of the surface, how the spray is applied, and the number of coats. For best results, calculate your total surface area, account for at least two coats for consistent color and appearance, and consider ordering extra for test sprays and full coverage. If your project involves a non-porous or highly absorbent surface, adjust your estimate accordingly.
The finish you select for PMS 413 C can change how the color is perceived. Gloss and satin finishes will make PMS 413 C look brighter and can amplify its cool, bluish undertone, especially in indirect daylight. Matte or flat finishes will mute reflections, causing the color to appear more subdued and slightly darker. For brand displays or installations, always assess PMS 413 C in both the chosen finish and intended lighting to ensure it matches the expected appearance and communicates the right visual character for your application.
To order PMS 413 C from MyPerfectColor, first select the paint format that suits your project, such as spray paint or other available options. Next, choose the sheen or finish (matte, satin, gloss) and specify your quantity. Review your choices to confirm that the product, finish, and amount meet your needs before placing the order. If you are working to a strict brand guideline, consider ordering a sample to review PMS 413 C on your actual surface and in your typical lighting prior to large-scale application.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 413 C in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
