PMS 364 C is part of the Pantone Matching System (Pantone PMS) and is often described as an earthy, subdued, and somewhat corporate green with technical and robust undertones. It projects a balanced and stable vibe, making it suitable for branding and environments where a reserved yet distinct color presence is needed. The color maintains clarity without being overly vibrant, offering a muted, professional appearance.
- PMS 364 C displays a distinctly dark appearance (LRV 12.5). - The color has a cool, mossy green tendency. - This green demonstrates moderate to high chroma, resulting in a somewhat saturated but controlled look. - The undertone is primarily olive, favoring earthiness over bright or neon qualities. - The color is not highly sensitive to finish, but gloss levels can subtly influence its perceived richness and depth.
PMS 364 C is effective where a deep, natural green is required without overpowering brighter palette elements. It works well for corporate, environmental, or institutional brand use, where reliability and composure are important. When specifying this color, users should evaluate samples in final lighting conditions, as low LRV colors can appear even darker under low or warm light sources. Compare gloss levels to adjust perceived vibrancy or subtlety relative to similar dark greens.

When using PMS 364 C in prototypes or concept models, start by confirming the Pantone PMS 364 C code with brand standards to ensure you are matching the intended reference. Choose sample formats such as spray paint or paint pens for direct application to the model material. Evaluate your samples in the same lighting conditions planned for the final presentation, since low LRV greens like PMS 364 C can appear even darker under warm or dim light. It is wise to order the paint in a sheen similar to your target finish, as gloss can impact perceived depth. For best evaluation, compare the prototype to a Pantone PMS 364 C reference guide rather than relying on digital previews or unmatched swatches.
For PMS 364 C, which is a dark and moderately saturated green, achieving a uniform appearance on large areas requires careful planning. Always use the same batch and application method across the project to prevent color variation. This color may need multiple coats to reach full coverage, so plan for adequate paint quantity and drying time. Apply thin, even layers, and avoid attempting to 'fix' patchiness by overworking partially dry surfaces, which can lead to streaking. Assess uniformity as each coat dries and make final judgments under the intended lighting conditions. If possible, create a test panel to confirm hide and appearance before starting the main job.
The Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for PMS 364 C paint is determined by the type of paint or coating (such as spray paint or house paint), not by the Pantone color code itself. Once you select the specific paint product and format for PMS 364 C, you can find the SDS in the product's SDS library or information section. If you need further guidance, contact customer support with your selected product type for direct links to the corresponding safety documentation.
PMS 364 C is commonly specified in brand and environmental graphics where a stable, subdued green is required, such as in corporate or institutional branding, display fabrication, or environments seeking a natural yet controlled color presence. It is chosen for its earthy undertones and reserved appearance rather than association with a specific well-known brand. If your project involves formal brand standards, confirm the Pantone code matches your official reference before ordering.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 364 C in paint, we don't provide any crossover information.
