PMS 2695 C is part of the Pantone PMS (Pantone Matching System) collection, which serves as the global standard for color communication in branding, marketing, and display fabrication. This color is characterized by a distinctly deep, rich purple appearance with a refined and technical character. Its overall vibe is bold, assertive, sophisticated, secure, and unmistakably brand-forward. With very low light reflectance (LRV 2.3), PMS 2695 C reads as strikingly dark and highly saturated, balanced by cool undertones that make it well-suited for settings requiring a strong, memorable color presence.
- PMS 2695 C appears extremely dark, with very low reflectance (LRV 2.3). - The color has a cool tendency, resulting from its deep violet hue and subtle blue undertone. - Saturation is high, delivering a vivid and intense visual effect. - The undertone is cool and blue-violet, contributing to a sense of depth and professionalism. - The color’s darkness and saturation may amplify perceived differences under varied finish levels; gloss increases perceived richness while matte can dial down intensity. - PMS 2695 C is sensitive to lighting conditions, and will look nearly black in low light but reveal purple clarity in brighter or directional lighting.
PMS 2695 C is used when a brand or project demands a distinguishingly deep violet with maximum visual control. The color provides gravitas and brand consistency in signage, display components, and prototype builds where precise color communication is a top priority. Expect the color to appear almost black in low ambient light and richer purple in strong, white-balanced light. When applying, ensure substrate opacity and consider multiple coats for uniform coverage, since highly saturated darks can sometimes display subtle streaking or uneven drying in thin films. Final appearance will be strongly influenced by sheen—verify with a physical sample under your intended lighting before committing to production or brand-critical implementations.

Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.
