PMS 2567 C is a Pantone Matching System (PMS) color recognized for its clean, technical, and controlled vibe, typically encountered in professional branding, marketing displays, and prototype production. The color, from the Pantone PMS collection, presents a noticeably cool violet hue with moderate lightness and a refined presence, supporting applications where hue consistency and visual clarity are required.

PMS 2567 C appears as a mid-light color, with an LRV of 37.97 indicating moderate reflectance. The color exhibits a distinctly cool tendency due to its position on the violet-to-blue spectrum. PMS 2567 C is moderately saturated, maintaining vividness without excessive chroma. This color shows subtle blue undertones that reinforce its cool overall impression. Finish choices can significantly affect perceived vibrancy; matte finishes may temper its chroma, while gloss may enhance saturation.

PMS 2567 C is suitable where a cool violet distinguishes branded spaces or elements from warmer or more neutral palettes. For optimal application, verify color matches against both Pantone swatches and actual paint samples in the target finish and lighting, as violet hues are prone to visible shifts under different conditions. Surface preparation should ensure consistent texture and color development, especially since moderate saturation may require multiple coats for uniform coverage. Compared to other similar cool violets, PMS 2567 C maintains a balance between visibility and subtlety, avoiding extremes in either lightness or chromatic intensity.

Similar colors:
PMS 2563 C – Lighter and exhibits more pastel vibrancy, offering a softer appearance.

PMS 2577 C – Slightly darker with increased chromatic depth, creating a more pronounced violet effect.

PMS 2725 C – Cooler with stronger blue influence, appearing less violet and more blue-toned.

PMS 7441 C – Higher chroma and brightness, resulting in a more vivid, attention-grabbing violet.

Frequently Asked Questions About Pantone™ PMS 2567 C

When is it appropriate to specify Pantone PMS 2567 C for sign, display, or exhibit fabrication?

Pantone PMS 2567 C is often specified when branding, displays, or exhibit components need to visually align with brand standards. Using PMS 2567 C provides a consistent color target across vendors and materials. For fabricated elements such as signs or displays, this Pantone code communicates the exact hue needed for brand consistency. It is best practice to confirm the final painted color by sampling PMS 2567 C on the actual substrate and finish you plan to use, since appearance can shift based on material and lighting. This helps ensure the delivered result meets visual brand requirements and avoids costly rework.

Can I use Pantone PMS 2567 C for touch-up or repair of existing products, or is there a better approach?

Pantone PMS 2567 C is intended as a brand standard color target for new painted items, not for touch-up or repair. Even if the original part was described using PMS 2567 C, matching for touch-up purposes requires considering how the color appears on the specific substrate and finish already in place. For critical repairs or touch-up work, the best practice is to send a physical sample of the part to the paint supplier so they can match it as closely as possible. This reduces visual offsets caused by original coating age, batch variation, or substrate differences.

What should I know about coverage and hide when applying PMS 2567 C paint in branding or display projects?

Paint matched to PMS 2567 C may require additional coats to achieve full, uniform coverage, especially on porous or contrasting surfaces. Like many bright or moderately saturated Pantone colors, PMS 2567 C can be less opaque than standard paint colors. For best results, apply a neutral primer to help with hide, and test coverage on your actual project substrate. Budget for more than one coat to ensure the final result meets brand color expectations and does not show inconsistent patches or substrate bleed-through.

What is the typical lead time to produce paint matched to Pantone PMS 2567 C?

Paint matched to Pantone PMS 2567 C is made to order. Lead times depend on the paint type you select and current production volumes. Standard lead time is usually several business days, but urgent deadlines or custom formats should be discussed in advance. Ordering early based on your project schedule helps ensure timely delivery for brand, display, or exhibit applications.

How quickly will I receive my paint matched to Pantone PMS 2567 C?

Interior and exterior house paints usually ship within 1 to 3 business days, while custom spray paint typically takes 3-5 business days to ship. Can I use the Pantone PMS 2567 C for touch up?

Unfortunately, no.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.
