For fabricated elements such as signs or displays, this Pantone code communicates the exact hue needed for brand consistency. It is best practice to confirm the final painted color by sampling PMS 2567 C on the actual substrate and finish you plan to use, since appearance can shift based on material and lighting. This helps ensure the delivered result meets visual brand requirements and avoids costly rework.

Pantone PMS 2567 C is intended as a brand standard color target for new painted items, not for touch-up or repair. Even if the original part was described using PMS 2567 C, matching for touch-up purposes requires considering how the color appears on the specific substrate and finish already in place. For critical repairs or touch-up work, the best practice is to send a physical sample of the part to the paint supplier so they can match it as closely as possible. This reduces visual offsets caused by original coating age, batch variation, or substrate differences.

Paint matched to PMS 2567 C may require additional coats to achieve full, uniform coverage, especially on porous or contrasting surfaces. Like many bright or moderately saturated Pantone colors, PMS 2567 C can be less opaque than standard paint colors. For best results, apply a neutral primer to help with hide, and test coverage on your actual project substrate. Standard lead time is usually several business days, but urgent deadlines or custom formats should be discussed in advance. Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.
