PMS 2268 U is a Pantone PMS color specified for consistent visual matching across brand-driven projects and display elements. It conveys a clean, modern, energetic, and natural green character with a noticeable level of clarity rather than muted neutrality.
The color presents as moderately light, with an LRV of 57.25. This color reads as cool-leaning, with a green direction that favors freshness over warmth. The color shows high saturation, giving it strong visual presence without appearing fluorescent.
This color carries a clean green undertone without significant yellow or blue bias.
PMS 2268 U works well in brand environments where a clear, contemporary green is needed to stand out against neutral backgrounds. Its saturation means coverage consistency may require additional coats, especially over darker or uneven substrates, and lighting conditions can noticeably influence perceived brightness. Evaluating finish and surface preparation helps maintain uniform appearance across panels or components.
Similar colors:
PMS 2269 U: slightly darker and deeper, with increased visual weight.
PMS 2270 U: darker and more subdued, with reduced saturation.
PMS 2249 U: lighter and softer, with a more open green appearance.

PMS 2268 U is a Pantone PMS color used as a visual reference standard, not a paint brand formula. Most paint manufacturers use their own color systems, so a direct cross reference is rarely exact.
This is especially true for vivid Pantone colors, where differences in pigments, binders, and finish can create visible shifts. If your project requires brand accuracy to PMS 2268 U, ordering a Pantone matched paint rather than relying on a named equivalent from another brand reduces the risk of mismatch.
Shipping time for a PMS 2268 U paint order depends on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout. Transit time is separate from production time and can vary by carrier and destination.
If you are working toward a fixed marketing or installation deadline, plan for transit time and consider ordering early. This is particularly important for brand-critical colors like PMS 2268 U, where reorders or last-minute changes can affect schedules.
Pantone color codes often include a suffix, such as the U in PMS 2268 U, which indicates the specific Pantone reference context. Different suffixes represent different visual standards and are not interchangeable.
Before ordering, confirm that PMS 2268 U is the exact code specified in your brand guidelines or project documentation. Using the wrong suffix can result in a color that is visibly different from the intended brand reference.
For projects that require brand approval or high visibility, ordering a small sample of PMS 2268 U is recommended before committing to a full order. This allows stakeholders to review the color on the actual substrate and under the installed lighting.
Sampling helps confirm visual acceptance, coverage expectations, and overall appearance, which is especially important for saturated Pantone colors. This step can prevent costly revisions later in the workflow.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

To make spray paint matched to Pantone PMS 2268 U. MyPerfectColor uses an acrylic enamel which is a fast-drying durable coating suitable for interior or exterior use. MyPerfectColor custom spray paint enables you to conveniently achieve a professional spray-smooth finish in any color in any sheen. It sticks well to most surfaces including metal, plastics, powder-coatings, cabinets and primed or previously painted wood.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 2268 U in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
