Pantone™ PMS 2195 U

PMS 2195 U is a Pantone target color, and its appearance can shift depending on lighting type, light temperature, and viewing angle. Daylight, LED, and fluorescent lighting can each emphasize different parts of the color, which can make the same painted surface appear slightly warmer, cooler, brighter, or duller.

For brand-critical work, evaluate PMS 2195 U under the lighting where it will actually be used and from typical viewing distances. This helps catch lighting-driven perception changes and reduces approval surprises after installation.

When applying a Pantone matched spray paint for PMS 2195 U, use multiple light coats rather than one heavy coat. Light coats help control color build, improve uniformity, and reduce surface defects.

Allow each coat to flash and dry according to the product instructions before applying the next. Highly saturated Pantone colors like PMS 2195 U may need additional passes to reach full visual density, so plan coverage accordingly.

PMS 2195 U does not have a guaranteed exact match in other paint brand color systems. Pantone PMS is a color communication standard, while most paint manufacturers use their own independent palettes and formulations.

Cross-reference charts can be approximate at best, especially for vivid or saturated Pantone colors. If PMS 2195 U is specified in brand standards, ordering a direct Pantone match is the most reliable way to target that color.

For projects with brand approval or stakeholder signoff, ordering a small sample of PMS 2195 U is strongly recommended. Sampling allows you to review the color on the actual substrate and under the installed lighting conditions.

This step helps confirm visual acceptance before committing to larger quantities, especially for high-visibility displays, exhibits, or multi-part builds where consistency is critical.

Unfortunately, no.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

The 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge how much spray you'll need as it is highly dependent on how it is applied. It is better to have too much than run short.
