PMS 664 U is a Pantone PMS color that reads as a pale lavender with a calm, understated character. The overall vibe is light, gentle, restrained, airy, and contemporary, making it suitable for brand environments that require color without dominance.
The color appears light in value, with an LRV of 64.08, and shows a slightly cool tendency rather than warmth. It has low saturation and carries a faint purple undertone that is softened by gray, keeping the appearance subtle.
PMS 664 U works well in brand-facing displays, signage, and painted components where a quiet, refined color presence is desired. Because of its lightness, careful surface preparation and consistent priming can help achieve an even result, and lighting conditions may influence how the lavender undertone is perceived.
Similar colors:
PMS 663 U: slightly lighter and more neutral, with less visible lavender character.
PMS 665 U: a touch darker and cooler, with a more noticeable purple presence.
PMS 5315 U: more muted and gray, with reduced lavender clarity.

When approving a match to Pantone PMS 664 U, compare samples under consistent lighting and on the same type of substrate you plan to use in production. Differences in lighting temperature or surface texture can shift how the color is perceived.
Allow the paint to fully dry and cure before final judgment. Fresh paint can appear darker or glossier than it will after curing, which can affect approval decisions for brand-critical colors like PMS 664 U.
The SDS is tied to the specific paint product and chemistry, not to the Pantone PMS 664 U color code itself. After selecting the paint type you plan to order, you can access the SDS for that product from the SDS library associated with that paint line.
Always review the SDS for the exact product format you are purchasing, since different binders and solvents have different handling and safety information.
Pantone PMS 664 U defines a visual color target, but it does not specify sheen, substrate, film build, or application method. Existing finishes often vary in gloss and surface texture, which strongly affects how the color appears.
Because of these variables, a Pantone-based match is intended for visual brand alignment on new work, not for blending into an existing painted surface where an exact finish match is required.
Start by selecting the paint type that fits your application, such as spray paint or another available format. Next, choose the sheen, quantity, and any required options before adding the product to your cart.
Double-check that Pantone PMS 664 U is the selected color and that the product format matches your project needs. Pantone codes are color references only, so confirming the correct paint type and finish is essential for accurate results.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

To make spray paint matched to Pantone PMS 664 U. MyPerfectColor uses an acrylic enamel which is a fast-drying durable coating suitable for interior or exterior use. MyPerfectColor custom spray paint enables you to conveniently achieve a professional spray-smooth finish in any color in any sheen. It sticks well to most surfaces including metal, plastics, powder-coatings, cabinets and primed or previously painted wood.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 664 U in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
