Pantone™ PMS 564 U

Pantone PMS 564 U is specified when brand standards call for a particular green-blue tone to be reproduced consistently across displays, signage, and marketing environments. Like other Pantone PMS colors, it functions as a visual reference target rather than a paint formula. Teams use PMS 564 U to communicate intent across vendors and materials, then validate the appearance on the actual substrates used in the project.

Pantone PMS 564 U is a moderately saturated color, and coverage can vary by substrate and paint format. On darker or uneven surfaces, an appropriate light or neutral undercoat can help achieve more uniform color and reduce the number of finish coats needed. Planning for test coverage and potentially multiple coats is recommended before full production.

Pantone books are printed reference standards, while paint is applied to real surfaces with specific sheens and textures. When PMS 564 U is produced as paint, factors like finish, substrate, film thickness, and lighting can all shift how the color appears. Sampling on the actual material and viewing it under intended lighting is the best way to set expectations before ordering larger quantities.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.
