PMS 377 U is a Pantone PMS color defined as a vivid, high-chroma yellow-green with a lively, attention-forward presence. In brand and marketing contexts, it is used to convey energy, freshness, and clear visual differentiation.
The color reads as medium-dark with an LRV of 22.94 and leans warm due to its strong yellow influence. It is highly saturated with a yellow-forward green undertone that appears bold rather than muted.
PMS 377 U performs well in brand-facing displays, signage, and fabricated elements where color visibility is critical. Its saturation may require additional coats for even coverage, and using a light primer can help support consistent color development. Lighting and finish choices can significantly affect how bright the color appears.

No. PMS 377 U is a Pantone PMS reference used to communicate a color target, not a formula that directly converts to other paint brand collections. Most paint manufacturers use their own color systems and pigments, so cross-references are rarely exact.
If your project requires PMS 377 U for brand-facing work, ordering a Pantone-based match is the correct path. Expect small visual differences across materials, finishes, and lighting, especially with vivid Pantone hues.
Yes. Expedited production is often available as an option during checkout for PMS 377 U. This shortens production time but does not change color matching or curing requirements.
If your deadline is critical or tied to an installation or event date, contact MyPerfectColor before ordering to confirm timing and shipping options. This helps avoid schedule risk on brand-sensitive projects.
PMS 377 U is a saturated Pantone color, which can have lower hide than more neutral colors. This means additional coats may be needed to achieve uniform coverage, especially over dark or uneven substrates.
For best results, plan your substrate preparation, primer choice, and coat count accordingly. Evaluating a sample on the actual material and under final lighting is recommended for high-visibility brand applications.
PMS 377 U is intended for brand color reproduction, not for matching an existing painted surface. If you need a very close, item-specific match, the best path is to send a physical part for color matching.
Pantone-based matching is most appropriate when PMS 377 U is the approved brand reference and visual alignment is the goal, rather than matching wear, age, or material-specific color variation.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

To make spray paint matched to Pantone PMS 377 U. MyPerfectColor uses an acrylic enamel which is a fast-drying durable coating suitable for interior or exterior use. MyPerfectColor custom spray paint enables you to conveniently achieve a professional spray-smooth finish in any color in any sheen. It sticks well to most surfaces including metal, plastics, powder-coatings, cabinets and primed or previously painted wood.
The 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge how much spray you'll need as it is highly dependent on how it is applied. It is better to have too much than run short.
While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 377 U in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
