Pantone™ PMS 375 U

Ordering PMS 375 U means you are purchasing paint mixed to visually match the Pantone PMS 375 U color standard. Pantone PMS is a color reference system, not a paint formula, coating recipe, or finish specification.

The match is created to align to the Pantone visual target under standard viewing conditions. Differences in substrate, sheen, and lighting can change how PMS 375 U appears in real use, so the result should be evaluated in context.

Start by confirming that PMS 375 U is the correct Pantone reference for your project. Then select the paint format that fits your application, such as spray paint, paint pens, brush-in-cap bottles, epoxy, urethane, or interior or exterior housepaint.

Next choose the sheen and quantity. Sheen affects how bright and saturated PMS 375 U appears, so select based on how the color will be viewed. If the project is high visibility or brand critical, ordering a sample first helps confirm appearance before committing to larger quantities.

PMS 375 U is commonly used in pop-ups and retail brand environments where strong visual impact and brand consistency are required. Because it is a vivid, saturated color, coverage and hide should be considered, and additional coats may be needed for uniform results.

Lighting in retail spaces can significantly influence how PMS 375 U is perceived. Always evaluate a sample under the actual installed lighting and on the intended substrate before full production to avoid surprises during installation.

A standard PMS 375 U match is appropriate for brand-facing displays, signage, exhibits, prototypes, and marketing installations where the Pantone reference is the approved color target.

For large or permanent installations, or when multiple materials are involved, confirming the match with samples is recommended. This ensures PMS 375 U meets visual expectations across substrates, finishes, and lighting conditions.

Unfortunately, no.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

The 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge how much spray you'll need as it is highly dependent on how it is applied. It is better to have too much than run short.
