Pantone™ PMS 376 U

Yes. PMS 376 U is commonly used on prototypes and concept models where visual brand alignment is the goal. Pantone PMS colors act as visual targets, not material-specific formulas, so the match is intended to look right rather than replicate production coatings. For approval-driven projects, it is best to apply PMS 376 U to the actual substrate and review it under the lighting where the prototype will be seen.

PMS 376 U is available as custom spray paint and other paint formats used for branding and display applications. Common options include spray paint, paint pens, and brush-in-cap bottles. Spray paint is typically chosen for larger surfaces and even coverage, while pens and bottles are better for small components or detailed prototype work. Choose the format based on surface size, level of control needed, and turnaround time.

Finish choice can noticeably change how PMS 376 U is perceived. Gloss finishes usually appear brighter and more saturated, while matte finishes can look softer and slightly less vivid. Satin finishes fall between the two. Because PMS 376 U is a strong, saturated green, reviewing a finish sample under your actual lighting is recommended before final approval.

Coverage depends on surface texture, application technique, and number of coats. As a general planning guide, one spray can of PMS 376 U typically covers about 8 to 12 square feet with a single coat. Highly saturated colors like PMS 376 U may require additional coats for uniform hide, so ordering extra cans is recommended for visible brand-facing surfaces.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.
