PMS 313 U is a Pantone PMS color used as a standardized visual reference for brand and marketing applications. It presents as a bright blue-green with a clean, energetic, and contemporary character that reads clearly under strong lighting.
The color has a mid-to-dark visual weight with an LRV of 20.15. It leans distinctly cool with a pronounced blue influence, shows high saturation and strong chroma, and carries a clear cyan-blue undertone rather than green or neutral.
PMS 313 U works well for brand-facing elements such as signage, display components, and experiential builds where strong color presence is intentional. Due to its saturation, it often benefits from a light or tinted primer and multiple coats to achieve even coverage, and finish and lighting can noticeably affect perceived intensity.
Similar colors: PMS 312 U: lighter and slightly brighter, with a more open cyan appearance.MyPerfectColor is the official licensee of Pantone and authorized to reproduce the Pantone™ PMS 313 U color in spray paint and other paints.

PMS 313 U is a Pantone Matching System color, which is a licensed visual standard rather than a paint formula. Ordering a licensed reproduction means the color is matched to the Pantone PMS 313 U reference under Pantone authorization, reducing interpretation differences between suppliers.
This matters for brand-facing work where PMS 313 U is specified in guidelines. An authorized match helps ensure the paint you receive aligns with the Pantone reference used by designers, printers, and brand teams, rather than an approximate or unofficial version.
Yes. For projects that require brand or stakeholder approval, it is recommended to order a small sample of PMS 313 U first. This allows you to review the color on your actual substrate and under the lighting where it will be used.
Pantone colors can shift in appearance based on surface texture, sheen, and lighting. Sampling PMS 313 U early helps avoid rework and supports smoother approval workflows before committing to larger quantities.
When using PMS 313 U in pop-ups or retail environments, evaluate the color under the installed lighting conditions, as bright or saturated Pantone hues can look different under LEDs, spotlights, or ambient retail lighting.
Durability and uniform coverage are also important for customer-facing surfaces. Sampling PMS 313 U on the final material and confirming the appearance before full installation helps ensure consistent brand presentation across the space.
PMS 313 U is a saturated Pantone color, which means even application is important for a consistent appearance. Plan your coats carefully and use a consistent technique across the entire surface to avoid patchiness or visible overlaps.
Applying multiple controlled coats and maintaining the same distance, speed, and overlap pattern helps achieve uniform coverage. Testing this process on a sample panel before full application is recommended for large, high-visibility areas.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

To make spray paint matched to Pantone PMS 313 U. MyPerfectColor uses an acrylic enamel which is a fast-drying durable coating suitable for interior or exterior use. MyPerfectColor custom spray paint enables you to conveniently achieve a professional spray-smooth finish in any color in any sheen. It sticks well to most surfaces including metal, plastics, powder-coatings, cabinets and primed or previously painted wood.
The 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge how much spray you'll need as it is highly dependent on how it is applied. It is better to have too much than run short.
While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 313 U in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
