Pantone® PMS 7719 C . Paint And Spray Paint. MyPerfectColor is the official licensee of Pantone and authorized to reproduce the Pantone Matching System colors in spray paint and other paints.

PMS 7719 C, part of the Pantone PMS system, is a deep, strong teal with a perceptible blue bias and moderate vibrancy. The color projects a technical, vivid, and assertive vibe while maintaining a sense of precision and clarity. It is defined by its low visual lightness, cool undertone, and a richness that makes it stand out in brand-focused environments and high-visibility applications.

- PMS 7719 C presents as visually dark, with relatively low light reflectance (LRV: 11.94). - The color has a distinctly cool tendency, situated in the blue-green segment of the spectrum. - PMS 7719 C is notably saturated, delivering strong chromatic presence. - The undertone is predominantly blue, with a subtle green influence. - This color is sensitive to finish; flatter finishes may mute its intensity, while gloss amplifies its vibrancy.

- PMS 7719 C is often used in branded environmental graphics that require a strong, recognizable blue-green. - The color is frequently specified for marketing and display components for brands seeking a non-primary color with technical associations.

PMS 7719 C works well when a cool, saturated teal-blue is needed to convey clarity, energy, or technical identity in branded materials, displays, or prototype components. Evaluate in the intended lighting, as low light reflectance can deepen its appearance, and surface finish will affect vibrancy—gloss enhances, matte subdues. Compared to similar colors, PMS 7719 C is more chromatic and assertively cool, which can make it less forgiving on uneven surfaces and more sensitive to substrate preparation and application consistency.

Similar colors:
PMS 7718 C – A lighter and slightly less saturated blue-green, offering a softer presence.

PMS 7717 C – A more neutral and less intense teal, with reduced chromaticity.

PMS 7472 C – Cooler and noticeably lighter, leaning further toward blue.

Frequently Asked Questions About Pantone™ PMS 7719 C

Can I use Pantone PMS 7719 C as a specification for touch-up work on existing products or coatings?

Pantone PMS 7719 C is not recommended for touch-up applications on pre-existing finishes. The Pantone system defines only the target color standard and does not specify the original coating type, surface sheen, or substrate conditions. Visual differences in gloss, material, and aging will usually prevent a Pantone reference alone from producing a reliable touch-up match on finished parts or surfaces. If you need visual continuity on existing products, you should evaluate the original finish and consider a custom match service based on a physical sample from the actual product.

What is the best way to apply PMS 7719 C spray paint for even, accurate color results?

For PMS 7719 C, apply several very light coats of spray paint instead of a single heavy coat. Allow time for each coat to begin to set before applying the next. This approach helps prevent runs and promotes a more even, brand-accurate appearance, especially with deep, saturated colors like PMS 7719 C. Building color gradually also improves coverage and reduces the risk of uneven finishes. Always review your progress under the lighting conditions where the final piece will be viewed.

How does the finish or sheen of PMS 7719 C paint affect its visual appearance?

The sheen selected for PMS 7719 C will have a noticeable impact on visual perception. Gloss finishes amplify brightness and saturation, making the blue-green color appear more vivid. Satin or semi-gloss provide a balanced look that can work for most brand-facing projects. Matte or flat finishes will mute vibrancy and make the teal appear deeper or less intense. Always confirm color and finish compatibility with your brand guidelines and review a sample in application lighting.

What is recommended surface preparation before painting with Pantone PMS 7719 C?

Proper preparation is key to consistent results with PMS 7719 C. Begin by cleaning the surface to remove dust, grease, and any contaminants. Lightly scuff glossy or slick surfaces to promote paint adhesion, if compatible with your substrate. Ensure the surface is fully dry. Before painting a full area, apply a test spot in an inconspicuous area to check for adhesion and appearance. Careful prep helps saturated colors like PMS 7719 C look uniform and adhere reliably.

How quickly will I receive my paint matched to Pantone PMS 7719 C?

Interior and exterior house paints usually ship within 1 to 3 business days, while custom spray paint typically takes 3-5 business days to ship. Can I use the Pantone PMS 7719 C for touch up?

Unfortunately, no.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

See our Primer Selection Table to see what primer you might need and learn more about when you might need a primer. Most people don't use a primer for a touch up paint application, but a primer may improve adhesion and is typically recommended for exterior applications.
How do I convert PMS 7719 C to a different color from another paint company?

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 7719 C in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
