PMS 7710 C is a Pantone Matching System (PMS) color within the Pantone PMS collection, recognized for its clean, vivid, and modern blue-green appearance. The color presents a saturated, cool-toned persona with a technical and energetic vibe. It is frequently used in environments where visual clarity and brand consistency are required, such as signage, event displays, and experiential marketing settings.

PMS 7710 C is moderately dark, with an LRV of 30.97. The color has a distinctly cool undertone, leaning toward the blue side of the blue-green spectrum. The color displays high chroma, resulting in vivid saturation. Undertone is pronounced blue-green, with more blue than yellow influence. The color can appear more vivid or subdued depending on lighting and finish, particularly under direct versus diffuse light.

PMS 7710 C works well in brand-forward applications where a saturated, energetic blue-green is needed for immediate recognition and impact. It is important to evaluate finish selection, as gloss emphasizes vibrancy while matte or eggshell can mute its appearance. Lighting can significantly affect perceived hue and saturation; always review physical samples under the intended lighting conditions. Compared to similar colors, PMS 7710 C generally maintains higher blue content and stronger saturation, making it stand out in environments where color differentiation is important.

Similar colors:
PMS 320 C – Similar but lighter and slightly more muted, with less chroma.

PMS 7465 C – Similar chromatic strength but slightly cooler and more blue.

PMS 3272 C – Slightly darker and deeper, with a richer green component.

Frequently Asked Questions About Pantone™ PMS 7710 C

What are the main challenges in matching Pantone PMS 7710 C in paint formats?

Pantone PMS 7710 C is a highly saturated blue-green, which can be difficult to match precisely in paint due to the color's vividness and high chroma. Differences in paint type, substrate, and finish can all impact the final appearance. Lighting conditions also strongly affect how the color is perceived. MyPerfectColor uses specialized color matching processes to achieve the closest feasible result, but users should evaluate physical samples if brand-critical accuracy is needed, especially for large or highly visible applications.

How do I order paint matched to Pantone PMS 7710 C on MyPerfectColor?

To order paint matched to Pantone PMS 7710 C, first select the desired paint format, such as spray paint, paint pen, or housepaint. Next, choose your preferred sheen (like gloss, matte, or eggshell), and enter the quantity required. Double-check specifications to be sure the selected options fit your project's needs. Place your order once you have reviewed your selections. For projects with strict approval requirements, consider requesting a sample before placing a larger order.

What is the typical production lead time for paint matched to Pantone PMS 7710 C?

Can I use the Pantone PMS 7710 C for touch up?

Unfortunately, no.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.
