PMS 7667 C is a Pantone Matching System (PMS) color that appears as a dark blue-violet with a reserved, cool, and professional character. Within the Pantone PMS collection, it is known for its stable, technical, and contemporary vibe, making it suitable for environments where clarity and visual calm are priorities. Its appearance is subtle and subdued, avoiding overstatement while still providing strong visual identity value.
PMS 7667 C displays a dark appearance with a light reflectance value (LRV) of 20.27.
The color shows a cool blue-violet tendency, influenced by its position on the hue spectrum.
PMS 7667 C demonstrates moderate chroma, yielding a look that is colored but not overly vibrant or saturated.
The undertone is distinctly bluish with a violet influence, leading to a refined, almost corporate impression.
This color can appear slightly deeper or cooler depending on the sheen; higher gloss finishes may make it read more saturated and luminous, while matte finishes will enhance its muted quality.
PMS 7667 C works well in branded spaces, exhibit elements, and marketing displays where a cool, composed color is needed and darker tones are appropriate for the visual hierarchy. The color maintains its identity under most common lighting conditions but may appear cooler under daylight or bright LEDs and slightly warmer under incandescent or warm-white lighting. Coverage may vary depending on finish and application method; additional coats could be required for full opacity, especially over light-colored substrates. When selecting this color, compare samples in the intended finish and lighting to ensure stability, and note its muted quality compared to other blue-violets in the PMS range.

Pantone PMS 7667 C is a standardized color target, but its deep blue-violet tone can be difficult to match precisely across various materials and surfaces due to differences in substrate, finish, and application method. While MyPerfectColor uses advanced color-matching techniques and equipment to achieve a close match, subtle differences are possible, especially when compared to non-paint samples or printed materials. Consider ordering samples and always compare colors in your intended lighting and finish to set accurate expectations before finalizing a project.
For Pantone PMS 7667 C, the finish affects both appearance and how the color is perceived. A gloss finish will make the color appear more saturated and can add visual punch, but it may also introduce glare in direct lighting or at certain viewing angles. A matte finish will give PMS 7667 C a quieter, more muted look but can help minimize reflections in well-lit environments or where low visual distraction is desired. Consider the lighting conditions, viewing distance, and whether reducing glare or maximizing color impact is a higher priority for your brand application.
When approving Pantone PMS 7667 C samples, use consistent lighting that matches your final installation environment, and review samples on the same type of substrate as your finished project. Allow all painted samples to dry or fully cure before evaluation, since color and sheen can shift as coatings set. This helps ensure you are assessing the color as it will appear in use, improving decision confidence and alignment with brand expectations.
Ordering a standard Pantone PMS 7667 C paint match is appropriate for marketing displays, signage, exhibit components, and prototypes where the Pantone PMS reference is the intended visual target. If your priority is brand consistency and you are not matching to an existing coating or material, a standard match delivers color alignment with published Pantone guidelines for most brand and marketing applications. For permanent or high-visibility installations, consider a sampling step to verify appearance under your lighting and on your chosen substrate.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 7667 C in paint, we don't provide any crossover information.
