PMS 7594 C is part of the Pantone PMS collection, a system specified for brand consistency across diverse materials and media. This color is characterized by an earthy, muted, and grounded vibe with practical, approachable, and understated qualities. It is visually substantial and is often selected for its resemblance to natural materials, offering a subdued visual identity distinct from more vibrant or synthetic options.

PMS 7594 C appears as a dark brown with clear earthy undertones. The color is distinctly warm, with a muted yellow-orange hue apparent due to its position on the hue scale. This color features moderate chroma, producing a saturated but noticeably subdued appearance. An LRV of 7.5 indicates low reflectance, which contributes to its strong, anchoring effect in visual arrangements. The undertone leans toward earthy ochre, reducing the risk of unwanted red or cool tones under most lighting. Finish choice can subtly influence appearance; higher-gloss finishes may intensify perceived warmth and depth.

PMS 7594 C is frequently referenced in branding literature as a choice for signage, display environments, and fixtures requiring a connection to natural or organic themes.

PMS 7594 C works well where a stable, natural brown is required to convey groundedness and subtle sophistication in brand-facing elements. Care should be taken with application in low-light or shadowed environments, as the color’s darkness may obscure details. It is less sensitive to lighting shifts than more chromatic hues, but glossier finishes may produce increased visual richness. Compared to lighter or more saturated counterparts, PMS 7594 C can offer improved background integration or contrast with lighter brand colors.

Similar colors:
PMS 7587 C: Lighter and warmer, providing a more orange-inflected earth tone.

PMS 4625 C: Darker and slightly more neutral, with reduced visible chroma.

PMS 7519 C: Warmer and redder, with more pronounced terracotta undertones.

Frequently Asked Questions About Pantone™ PMS 7594 C

Why might PMS 7594 C appear different on various materials or substrates?

PMS 7594 C is specified as a visual color standard, not a formula unique to every material. The final appearance of PMS 7594 C can shift between materials due to differences in surface absorption, texture, and reflectivity. For example, a matte, porous substrate may cause PMS 7594 C to look flatter and darker, while a smooth, glossy surface can intensify the perceived warmth and depth. To avoid surprises, it is best to evaluate PMS 7594 C samples on the actual substrates to be used in your project.

How can I get help choosing the right paint format for Pantone PMS 7594 C?

If you are unsure which paint type or format is best for your PMS 7594 C application, MyPerfectColor can help. Contact us with details about your project, including the substrate material, intended use, exposure to weather or handling, and your desired finish. We will recommend the paint format best suited for replicating PMS 7594 C while meeting your durability and appearance needs.

What do the code and suffix in Pantone PMS 7594 C mean, and why should I confirm the reference?

Pantone PMS 7594 C includes both a number and a suffix. The suffix, such as 'C' for coated, indicates the reference material used for the original standard. Since different suffixes (like C for coated or U for uncoated) can have noticeably different appearances, always check your brand or design documentation to ensure PMS 7594 C is the correct target for your project. This helps avoid unintentional color mismatches.

What are the typical lead times for ordering paint matched to PMS 7594 C?

PMS 7594 C paint orders are made to order to ensure color accuracy. Lead times depend on the product type and current production volume. Can I use the Pantone PMS 7594 C for touch up?

Unfortunately, no.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

How do I convert PMS 7594 C to a different color from another paint company?

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 7594 C in paint, we don't provide any crossover information.
