PMS 7592 C, from the Pantone PMS system, is recognized for its deep, grounded orange tone with a muted yet substantial presence. The color tends to project an earthy, stable, and professional vibe, making it suitable for applications seeking both visibility and a sense of maturity. Its visual role is enhanced by its moderate chroma and relatively low light reflectance value.
PMS 7592 C is relatively dark, with an LRV of 16.09. The color exhibits a warm tendency. PMS 7592 C has moderate saturation, imparting a solid but not overly vivid appearance. The undertone is distinctly earthy, with subtle brown and ochre influences. The color’s perceived richness may vary depending on finish, showing more depth in matte or satin applications and increased vibrancy in glossier finishes.
PMS 7592 C is frequently selected for signage, point-of-purchase displays, and branded environments demanding an organic or established feel. The color is often specified for prototype finishes where natural or sustainable brand themes are important.
PMS 7592 C works well in spaces or displays that benefit from a sense of warmth without relying on high-brightness or primary tones. When specifying or matching this color, review how variable light—especially warm or yellow-toned—can enhance or mute its undertones. Surface preparation is important for achieving even coverage, as darker, moderately saturated oranges may require additional coats for uniformity, particularly over lighter primed substrates. Compared to brighter oranges, PMS 7592 C reads as more subdued and less prone to glare, but watch for finish-induced shifts in perceived depth.

PMS 7586 C: Darker and more brown, introducing greater neutrality and depth.
PMS 1675 C: Redder and richer, conveying a bolder, more chromatic finish.
PMS 174 C: Deeper and less saturated, reading as a muted brick or rust tone with less orange influence.

To avoid mistakes when ordering, always use the full Pantone code, in this case 'PMS 7592 C'. The code uniquely identifies the exact shade within the Pantone Matching System. Relying only on a color name or leaving off the suffix may result in receiving a different color. Double-check your project specifications to confirm PMS 7592 C is the required target and always communicate the full code to avoid confusion.
Whether a primer is needed before using PMS 7592 C depends on the substrate, paint type, and your project's requirements. Primer is especially important for bare, porous, glossy, or uneven surfaces to promote adhesion and achieve true color. It also helps ensure uniform coverage, which is important for darker and moderately saturated oranges like PMS 7592 C. Check the product instructions or consult with MyPerfectColor if you are unsure which primer to use for your material and application.
The durability of PMS 7592 C spray paint depends on the surface preparation, the type of paint selected, and the exposure conditions. For the most lasting results, ensure proper substrate cleaning and priming. Adding a clear topcoat can further improve resistance to wear, moisture, or UV exposure. For brand displays and prototypes, standard spray paint is usually sufficient, but for high-traffic or outdoor environments, consider more robust paint systems. Always match the paint type to your project's exposure needs.
For best results with PMS 7592 C spray paint, apply several light coats rather than one heavy coat. Allow appropriate drying or flash time between coats, as this helps avoid runs and promotes even color build, especially with moderately saturated oranges. Continue layering until full coverage and color depth are achieved. Careful application is key to a uniform, brand-consistent result.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 7592 C in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
