PMS 1675 C from the Pantone PMS system offers a deep, saturated orange-brown that conveys a grounded, robust, and assertive vibe. This color is perceived as both warm and strong, often chosen for visual presence and recognition in physical environments and branded materials. Its use is common in contexts requiring clear, earthy warmth and a sense of reliability or heritage.

PMS 1675 C appears dark, with a low light reflectance value (LRV 11.86). The color exhibits a warm tendency, leaning heavily toward the orange-red side of the spectrum. Saturation is high, resulting in a bold and vivid visual effect. The undertone reads as an earthy, burnt orange with noticeable brown influence. PMS 1675 C may experience visible shifts in perception depending on the surface finish, with gloss increasing the apparent richness and matte finishes enhancing its earthiness.

PMS 1675 C works well when a brand or display installation calls for a visually assertive, earthy tone that demands attention but maintains warmth. It is best evaluated under the intended lighting conditions as both lighting and surface finish can affect how boldly the brown and orange notes appear. Higher saturation may require additional coats during paint application to achieve uniform coverage, especially over lighter substrates. Compared to similar deep oranges or reds, PMS 1675 C will consistently appear more grounded and less vivid, with a distinctly earthy undertone that differentiates it from cleaner or brighter oranges.

Similar colors:
PMS 152 C: Lighter and slightly more orange, appearing less earthy and more energetic.

PMS 1595 C: Warmer and redder, with a brighter, less brown appearance.

PMS 174 C: Darker and more neutral, moving toward a brown with less visible orange undertone.

Frequently Asked Questions About Pantone™ PMS 1675 C

What does it mean to order PMS 1675 C paint as a Pantone PMS match?

Ordering PMS 1675 C as a Pantone PMS match means you are requesting a paint that visually matches the standardized PMS 1675 C color target. The Pantone PMS designation defines a precise color reference, but not a specific coating formula or finish. The paint produced will be matched to the visual appearance of PMS 1675 C as specified in Pantone guides, not to any manufacturing process or proprietary mixture. Always verify the appearance on your intended substrate and under your lighting conditions to ensure it meets your brand or display needs.

Can I request expedited production for PMS 1675 C paint if I have a tight deadline?

Yes, expedited production is offered for PMS 1675 C paint and can be selected during checkout. If your timeline is critical, contact MyPerfectColor directly to confirm availability and ensure your order for PMS 1675 C can be fulfilled by your required date. Advance coordination is the best way to avoid project delays and align expectations, especially for brand or event installations.

How is PMS 1675 C used to achieve brand consistency in marketing and display projects?

PMS 1675 C is a standardized Pantone brand color that helps ensure consistent visual identity across marketing materials, displays, and branded environments. Using PMS 1675 C as specified in your brand standards ensures your project aligns with other branded assets and is recognized as intended. Always match to the Pantone PMS visual standard, and review any coatings for PMS 1675 C under your installation lighting to confirm consistency for your audience.

Should I order PMS 1675 C paint in matte or gloss for a brand display application?

The choice between matte and gloss for PMS 1675 C depends on your visual goals and viewing environment. Gloss finishes will increase the color's punch and make PMS 1675 C appear richer, but can introduce glare under direct lighting. Matte finishes minimize glare and highlight the earthy character of the color, but may appear less saturated at long distances. Consider your lighting, substrate, and audience viewing distance when making your decision, and test a sample if appearance is critical for your brand experience.

Can I use the Pantone PMS 1675 C for touch up?

Unfortunately, no.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.
