For best results, make sure the substrate is properly cleaned and primed before painting. If the installation will be exposed to high-traffic or outdoor conditions, consider using a compatible protective topcoat to enhance resistance to wear and weather. Always choose the paint type based on the expected exposure and performance needs, as general-purpose spray paints are best suited for short to medium-term display and interior use. For critical, long-term, or exterior branding, ask about higher-durability formulations and topcoat options.

To choose the right paint for PMS 7571 C, determine if the application will be indoors or outdoors. For most indoor projects such as exhibits, signage, or prototypes, standard interior or general-purpose spray paint is typically sufficient. For any exterior or high-exposure installations, select a product specifically formulated for exterior use, as these offer improved resistance to sunlight, moisture, and temperature changes. If long-term appearance or warranty is a concern, confirm the product rating with your supplier and consider sampling before committing to a full order.

When using PMS 7571 C in retail or brand activations, prioritize both visual consistency and durability. Sample the color on the actual substrate and evaluate it under the expected lighting to ensure it meets brand standards. For high-traffic or temporary installations, use finishes that balance appearance and scratch resistance. If the project involves a mix of materials, order test samples on each type to confirm color alignment. For projects requiring brand signoff or formal approval, order a sample of PMS 7571 C paint and apply it to the actual material that will be used in your installation. Review the sample under the lighting conditions where it will be displayed. This process ensures that stakeholders can assess and approve the color as it will actually appear. Sampling helps identify any issues with finish, lighting, or substrate compatibility before committing to full production.

Unfortunately, no.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

The 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge how much spray you'll need as it is highly dependent on how it is applied. It is better to have too much than run short.

We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
