Pantone™ PMS 2299 C

PMS 2299 C is a Pantone color developed for standardized color communication and does not have an exact equivalent in other paint company collections. Each brand creates its own palette, and highly saturated or vivid colors like PMS 2299 C are especially hard to match across different paint lines. For brand consistency and visual accuracy, it is best to specify and source PMS 2299 C directly, rather than cross-referencing with a non-Pantone collection.

PMS 2299 C paint is custom made to order based on the Pantone standard. Because each order is made according to your chosen product type and sheen, returns and exchanges are generally not possible. It is important to review your requirements for finish and application, and if you are unsure of the appearance under your conditions, order a sample first. Careful selection helps avoid disappointment and supports the accurate delivery of brand-consistent results.

Pantone codes, such as PMS 2299 C, may include suffixes or series details that define the exact color reference needed. Color differences can occur even between closely related codes, or between coated (C), uncoated (U), or matte (M) suffixes. To avoid ordering errors and achieve the intended result, confirm the precise code and suffix required from your brand standards or project documentation before placing your order.

When using PMS 2299 C on plastic or other low-surface-energy materials, adhesion can be challenging. Not all plastics accept paint easily, and certain types may require a specialty primer or surface preparation to achieve proper bonding. Testing on the actual plastic material before full production is strongly recommended to confirm adhesion and color appearance.

Unfortunately, no.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

The 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge how much spray you'll need as it is highly dependent on how it is applied. It is better to have too much than run short.
