Ordering PMS 2293 C paint as a Pantone match means you are specifying that the paint color should visually match the PMS 2293 C standard from the Pantone Matching System. This is a visual target, not a formula or specific coating process, so it does not guarantee color appearance across every material or finish. The goal is visual alignment with the Pantone guide for branding or display, and not for touch-up, repair, or matching to an unknown coating.

PMS 2293 C paint is available in custom spray paint, paint pens, brush-in-cap bottles, and other formats suitable for branding, displays, and marketing applications. Your ideal format depends on the surface area, material, and application method needed. Spray paint delivers fast, even coverage for signage and display pieces, while paint pens and bottles work well for smaller prototyping or models.

To maintain a consistent appearance with PMS 2293 C on large areas, use the same product and finish throughout, and plan your coats for full, even coverage. High-saturation greens like PMS 2293 C can require more coats, especially if the substrate is not primed. Apply each coat in consistent passes and evaluate in your installation lighting for uniformity. Avoid touch-up techniques, as visible blending is not guaranteed.

When using PMS 2293 C in brand environments such as pop-ups or retail, review durability requirements and test samples on the actual substrates under in-store lighting. Highly saturated colors can appear more intense under bright lights, and finish can significantly affect vibrancy. It is important to review a sample before large-scale use and to select coating types appropriate for expected wear and traffic.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

The 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge how much spray you'll need as it is highly dependent on how it is applied. It is better to have too much than run short.

We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
