PMS 2293 C is part of the Pantone PMS (Pantone Matching System) collection, widely adopted for brand and industrial color specification. The color exhibits a bold, contemporary green character with a moderate depth, clean and assertive appearance, and noticeable vibrancy. The overall vibe is technical, graphic, visually prominent, and modern, supporting use in environments where visibility and clarity are essential.

PMS 2293 C appears as a medium-dark green with a moderately strong light reflectance value (LRV: 44.97). The color has a cool, crisp undertone with no apparent yellow or blue lean. This color shows high saturation, producing a vivid and energetic effect under most lighting conditions. The undertone is close to a pure green, giving it clarity and making it suitable for wayfinding or high-visibility roles. Finish selection can noticeably affect the perceived intensity and visual weight, with glossy finishes amplifying vibrancy.

PMS 2293 C is often specified for signage, point-of-sale graphics, or branded environments where a recognizable and vivid green is needed. This color is frequently used in industrial design and exhibition components to convey modernity and energy.

PMS 2293 C performs well in branding, architectural graphics, and environments where clear color differentiation is required. Care should be taken to evaluate it under both natural and artificial lighting, as appearance may become more intense or slightly muted depending on the substrate and sheen. For high-saturation greens such as this, ensure substrates are properly primed, as lower coverage may necessitate additional coats. Compared to similar greens, PMS 2293 C maintains less yellow or blue shift and more neutrality, making it effective where a true green appearance is valued.

Similar colors:
PMS 354 C – Brighter, slightly lighter, and approaches a more saturated chroma.

PMS 347 C – Somewhat darker and more muted, delivers a more traditional green appearance.

PMS 7482 C – Warmer and yellow-leaning, appearing less neutral.

Frequently Asked Questions About Pantone™ PMS 2293 C

What does it mean to order PMS 2293 C paint as a Pantone match?

Ordering PMS 2293 C paint as a Pantone match means you are specifying that the paint color should visually match the PMS 2293 C standard from the Pantone Matching System. This is a visual target, not a formula or specific coating process, so it does not guarantee color appearance across every material or finish. The goal is visual alignment with the Pantone guide for branding or display, and not for touch-up, repair, or matching to an unknown coating.

What product formats can I order PMS 2293 C paint in?

PMS 2293 C paint is available in custom spray paint, paint pens, brush-in-cap bottles, and other formats suitable for branding, displays, and marketing applications. Your ideal format depends on the surface area, material, and application method needed. Spray paint delivers fast, even coverage for signage and display pieces, while paint pens and bottles work well for smaller prototyping or models.

What are best practices for achieving a uniform look with PMS 2293 C paint on large surfaces?

To maintain a consistent appearance with PMS 2293 C on large areas, use the same product and finish throughout, and plan your coats for full, even coverage. High-saturation greens like PMS 2293 C can require more coats, especially if the substrate is not primed. Apply each coat in consistent passes and evaluate in your installation lighting for uniformity. Avoid touch-up techniques, as visible blending is not guaranteed.

What should I consider when using PMS 2293 C paint for pop-ups or retail environments?

When using PMS 2293 C in brand environments such as pop-ups or retail, review durability requirements and test samples on the actual substrates under in-store lighting. Highly saturated colors can appear more intense under bright lights, and finish can significantly affect vibrancy. It is important to review a sample before large-scale use and to select coating types appropriate for expected wear and traffic.

How quickly will I receive my paint matched to Pantone PMS 2293 C?
All paint is custom-made to order. While most orders ship within 48 hours, the lead-time for paint made to match Pantone PMS 2293 C depends on the type of paint needed. Interior and exterior house paints usually ship within 1 to 3 business days, while custom spray paint typically takes 3-5 business days to ship. The transit time depends on your location and the shipping method you choose. If your need is immediate, select Expedited Production during checkout. Most expedited production orders ship within 24 hours on business days. Please contact MyPerfectColor if you are concerned about a specific deadline. We do our best to make sure you get your paint on time. Learn more about paint lead times at MyPerfectColor.
Can I use the Pantone PMS 2293 C for touch up?

Unfortunately, no.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

How much area will one spray can cover? And what is Pantone PMS 2293 C spray paint made of?

Most people don't use a primer for a touch up paint application, but a primer may improve adhesion and is typically recommended for exterior applications.
How do I convert PMS 2293 C to a different color from another paint company?

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 2293 C in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
