Pantone™ PMS 347 C

To accurately compare PMS 347 C samples, always evaluate them under consistent lighting conditions-ideally in the environment where they will be installed. Use the same substrate for all samples, as color appearance can shift on different materials. Make sure your samples are fully dry and cured, since Pantone PMS 347 C may look glossier or darker before curing is complete. Only assess final color when coatings have reached their intended finish and have cured as specified by product instructions to avoid approval issues related to sheen or color shift.

When selecting a sheen for PMS 347 C, keep in mind that glossier finishes can make this green appear more vivid and saturated, while matte finishes may mute color intensity. Consider the type of substrate, the intended viewing distance, and the context of the display. For high-visibility branding, a higher gloss can boost impact, but can also increase glare. Always sample PMS 347 C in the intended sheen and under relevant lighting to confirm visual goals before full production.

PMS 347 C may look different on each substrate because factors like surface texture, absorption, and reflectivity change how the color is perceived. Porous or matte materials can make PMS 347 C seem less intense, while glossy or smooth substrates often make it more vibrant. For marketing and brand projects, always test PMS 347 C directly on the actual materials planned for your build to evaluate real-world appearance and confirm it meets your expectations under final conditions.

For even coverage of PMS 347 C on large surfaces, plan your application to minimize overlaps and maintain a wet edge if using liquid coatings. Highly saturated colors like PMS 347 C may need additional coats for solid, uniform color-especially over light or uneven backgrounds. Use the same batch for each section when possible, and avoid changes in technique that could result in uneven sheen or color variation across the area.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

It sticks well to most surfaces including metal, plastics, powder-coatings, cabinets and primed or previously painted wood.

The 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge how much spray you'll need as it is highly dependent on how it is applied. It is better to have too much than run short.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 347 C in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
