PMS 2267 C is a mid-light, chromatic green with a distinctly fresh and clean appearance. The color leans toward the cool side of the green spectrum, with moderate saturation and easy visual clarity. PMS 2267 C is often perceived as energetic, crisp, and approachable, with a distinctly modern character.

PMS 2267 C displays a mid-light visual value, as supported by an LRV of 63.08.

The color exhibits a cool tendency and is based on a green hue with a subtle bluish influence.

PMS 2267 C has moderate to high saturation, delivering pronounced visibility without appearing overly intense or neon.

The undertone is cool-neutral, maintaining balance in most lighting conditions without shifting toward yellow or olive.

Finish can affect brightness and saturation; glossier finishes may make it appear more vivid, while matte finishes can mute its vibrance.

PMS 2267 C functions well in branded environments, design prototypes, and environments needing clear, consistent green across substrates. It maintains chromatic clarity in controlled ambient lighting and shows less visible yellowing under artificial light than many warmer greens. For paint, coverage is generally consistent for a mid-bright green, but additional coats may be needed to achieve full opacity on high-contrast substrates. When viewed next to darker or more muted greens, PMS 2267 C will appear both lighter and more vibrant.

Similar colors:

  • PMS 2270 C: Displays a slightly lighter and more neutral green, resulting in a softer overall impression.
  • PMS 2268 C: Is a deeper, darker green offering greater perceived depth and less luminosity.
  • PMS 3395 C: Presents as a more chromatic, slightly warmer green, especially under warm lighting conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions About Pantone™ PMS 2267 C

How do I correctly order Pantone PMS 2267 C and avoid mistakes with the name or code?

Always use the exact Pantone PMS code when ordering PMS 2267 C. The code 'PMS 2267 C' specifically identifies this unique green shade as defined by Pantone. Double-check for any suffix such as 'C' for coated, as omitting or using the wrong suffix may result in receiving a different color. Using only the color name without the PMS code can lead to ordering the wrong product. For best results, follow your brand standards and use the full Pantone code listed in your specifications.

What should I do to maintain color consistency when placing repeat orders for PMS 2267 C?

To keep results consistent when reordering PMS 2267 C, always choose the same product type and sheen as your previous order. Differences in finish, material, or supplier can result in visible color variation, even with the correct PMS code. If you used a reference sample or had a visual approval standard for your original order, use the same reference and approval method each time. This approach helps ensure your branded environments and displays remain visually consistent.

What should I consider for coverage and undercoats when painting with PMS 2267 C?

PMS 2267 C is a mid-light, saturated green that may require more than one coat for full, uniform coverage, especially over darker or highly contrasting surfaces. For the most consistent results, consider using a light, neutral undercoat. This can reduce the number of PMS 2267 C topcoats needed and help achieve a crisp, vivid finish. Planning for multiple coats is recommended when the project requires precise brand appearance.

When is it appropriate to use a standard Pantone PMS 2267 C color match for projects?

Using a standard match for PMS 2267 C is appropriate for most marketing, branding, exhibit, prototype, and display applications where visual alignment to the Pantone reference is the main objective. If your brand standards specify PMS 2267 C and visual consistency is more important than matching a particular manufacturer's coating, a standard Pantone match provides reliable, repeatable results across substrates. For environments with critical brand approval steps or complex materials, consider confirming suitability with test samples first.

How quickly will I receive my paint matched to Pantone PMS 2267 C?

Interior and exterior house paints usually ship within 1 to 3 business days, while custom spray paint typically takes 3-5 business days to ship. Can I use the Pantone PMS 2267 C for touch up?

Unfortunately, no.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.
