The Safety Data Sheet for PMS 2123 C paint is linked to the specific paint product type, not the Pantone color code itself. To access the correct SDS, select the paint format you are using, such as spray paint, paint pen, or house paint, and review the SDS for that product in the SDS library or product listing. Confirm you are referencing the SDS for your chosen material and application method.

It is important to specify the full Pantone code, including any suffix or series, when ordering PMS 2123 C paint. Suffixes like 'C' for coated or 'U' for uncoated refer to the target color standard and can affect the intended visual match. Always check your brand guidelines or specification documents to confirm the correct Pantone PMS code for your application. Requesting the exact reference helps ensure accurate, brand-consistent color results.

PMS 2123 C is a saturated blue-violet that may require more coats than less intense colors for full and uniform hide, especially over contrasting surfaces. Planning for two or more coats improves coverage and consistency. Using an appropriate undercoat, such as a white or tinted primer, can help achieve the intended vibrancy and hide. Testing on your actual materials before final application is recommended to confirm results and adjust your approach if needed.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.
