PMS 2110 C is part of the Pantone Matching System (PMS), widely used for specifying exact colors in brand, marketing, and industrial design applications. The color presents a strong, modern, and assertive vibe, supported by its notably low LRV of 12.76. PMS 2110 C fits technical, bold, and vivid visual targets where color accuracy, intensity, and clear brand alignment are operational priorities.
PMS 2110 C appears dark based on its low light reflectance value (LRV 12.76). The color conveys a cool tendency, with a perceptible purple-blue cast. PMS 2110 C exhibits high saturation, delivering a visually impactful presence. The undertone is distinctly blue with a violet influence. This color’s richness can make it sensitive to finish choice; gloss finishes increase its vibrancy, while matte finishes may mute it slightly.
PMS 2110 C is often referenced in branding literature as a color for retail display elements or marketing installations seeking a saturated, modern, cool-toned purple-blue effect. This color is frequently specified for temporary brand environments, event activations, and prototype components that must adhere to defined visual identity standards.
PMS 2110 C works well when a strong, saturated color statement is required, especially for marketing, brand rollouts, and prototype environments where accurate color communication is critical. Users should account for the color’s relatively low hiding power due to its saturation—multiple coats may be needed for uniform coverage, and meticulous surface preparation is recommended. Because finish and lighting can significantly influence color perception, both should be confirmed in the final environment prior to production. PMS 2110 C is cooler and more vibrant than many adjacent purples, and can appear bluer or more chromatic depending on substrate and lighting.
Similar colors:
PMS 2109 C: Slightly darker and more subdued; provides a less vibrant effect.
PMS 2111 C: Lighter in appearance and with a softer purple cast.
PMS 2386 C: Warmer and slightly more magenta; reads less blue than PMS 2110 C.

Pantone PMS 2110 C is frequently chosen for brand-facing displays, retail activations, and marketing installations that require an assertive and accurate purple-blue statement. It is often referenced for temporary brand environments, event signage, and prototypes where vivid color identity and consistency with branding guidelines are essential. Choosing PMS 2110 C helps ensure a strong, modern visual presence aligned with branded visuals.
Ordering a standard Pantone PMS 2110 C match is appropriate for most marketing, signage, display fabrication, and prototype projects where visual brand accuracy is the primary target. This approach works well when you need your finished result to align with published brand standards and the Pantone reference is the designated color for the project. Standard matches are suitable for temporary installs, event components, and materials where the focus is on a visually accurate and consistent branded appearance, rather than exact substrate-to-substrate matching or formal approval workflows.
To achieve consistent appearances with Pantone PMS 2110 C on repeat orders, use the same paint type, sheen level, and color reference each time. Variations in finish or substrate can impact the way this saturated purple-blue is perceived. Stick with your original reference system and approval approach, and if possible, use the same supplier and product line for every batch. Confirming color under final lighting conditions before proceeding with large orders helps minimize the risk of unexpected differences from batch to batch.
When specifying Pantone PMS 2110 C, select an interior paint format for projects used solely indoors, such as retail displays, trade show components, and branded environments. For outdoor installations or any application exposed to weather, order an exterior-rated paint format. Using an exterior product is important to maintain color stability and finish durability when exposed to sunlight, moisture, or temperature shifts. Always consider the environment and the expected performance needs when choosing your paint type for PMS 2110 C.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 2110 C in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
