Pantone™ PMS 2111 C

Pantone PMS 2111 C is a deep, vivid purple that is frequently chosen for brand, marketing, and display contexts where a memorable accent is needed. It is specified by creative teams for logos, event elements, or environmental branding, especially when visual impact and modernity are important. PMS 2111 C performs best when consistency and color accuracy are central to the experience, such as for prototype builds, display fabrications, and branded installations where the Pantone color reference is the target. It is not intended for touch-up or maintenance work.

Paint matched to Pantone PMS 2111 C is made to order to ensure the most accurate brand result. Lead times depend on the product type and current production volume, but most spray paint and related formats usually ship within a few business days. For large or complex orders, allow additional time to accommodate mixing and quality checks. Expedited production or shipping may be available for projects with tight deadlines.

Pantone PMS 2111 C is a saturated purple that is sensitive to changes in surface texture. A smooth, high-gloss surface can make PMS 2111 C appear more vibrant and deeper, while a matte or textured surface will make it look more subdued or even darker. Uneven or rough surfaces can accentuate application defects, which are more noticeable with such a bold color. For visually consistent results, make sure surfaces are properly prepared and choose the sheen carefully based on your brand requirements.

When applying Pantone PMS 2111 C paint to plastics or other low-energy materials, adhesion can be a challenge. Many plastics need a specific primer or surface preparation for proper bonding. It is strongly recommended to test PMS 2111 C paint on your actual plastic substrate before full production. This ensures that the color, finish, and adhesion meet brand expectations and project requirements.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

The 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge how much spray you'll need as it is highly dependent on how it is applied. It is better to have too much than run short.

We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
