PMS 2025 C (Pantone PMS Collection) is a vivid, high-saturation orange notable for its energy and visual intensity. The color projects a bold, expressive, and attention-grabbing character, balanced by a modern, clean feel. It is widely recognized in the branding and design industries for its use in applications where high visibility and distinctiveness are desired.

- PMS 2025 C appears moderately light, with a numeric LRV of 39.78. - The color presents a warm tendency due to its pronounced orange-yellow hue. - This color is highly saturated, delivering strong chroma and visual intensity. - PMS 2025 C contains an orange core with subtle yellow undertones, producing a vivid and lively appearance. - The color may exhibit substantial finish sensitivity, with gloss finishes amplifying both vibrancy and perceived brightness.

- PMS 2025 C is frequently used in marketing displays, event environments, and brand experience installations where distinct orange branding is required. - The color is often selected for prototype production and concept modeling for brand-driven industries focused on energetic, youth-oriented, or sports-related messaging.

PMS 2025 C works effectively for projects requiring a highly visible, energetic orange that communicates vibrancy and draws attention at a distance. For best results, carefully assess lighting conditions, as intense artificial or direct lighting may further heighten its brightness and saturation. Surface preparation is key: smooth, well-primed substrates enhance color uniformity, while application on textured or dark backgrounds may require additional coats for full chromatic strength. Compared to similar saturated oranges, PMS 2025 C is more vivid and warmer, which can both strengthen impact and potentially highlight surface flaws if not applied evenly.

Similar colors:
PMS 165 C – Similar saturation but appears warmer and deeper, leaning further into classic orange-red.

PMS 151 C – Lighter and slightly more subdued, with a stronger yellow influence.

PMS 158 C – Comparable chroma but shows a more muted, less neon-like orange.

Frequently Asked Questions About Pantone™ PMS 2025 C

What am I actually ordering when I choose Pantone PMS 2025 C paint?

When you order Pantone PMS 2025 C paint, you are requesting a paint color that is formulated to visually match the PMS 2025 C standard as defined by Pantone. The PMS code identifies a standardized color reference, not a specific paint formula, manufacturing method, or finish. This means PMS 2025 C in paint is intended to provide a close visual match to the Pantone guide, but differences in materials, substrates, and finishes can affect the final appearance. If you have brand or project requirements that demand exact appearance or performance on a specific material, consider confirming with a production sample before proceeding with full orders.

How long does it take to produce paint matched to Pantone PMS 2025 C?

Pantone PMS 2025 C paint is made to order to ensure accurate color matching. Production times depend on the product format you select and current production volume. Spray paint and specialty coatings may require several business days to formulate and prepare for shipping. If your project is on a tight schedule, confirm estimated lead times when ordering and allow additional time for shipping. Planning ahead helps ensure you receive PMS 2025 C paint when you need it for your brand or marketing project.

What should I know about coverage when using Pantone PMS 2025 C paint?

Pantone PMS 2025 C is a vibrant and highly saturated orange. These intense colors often have lower hide, meaning they may require extra coats to achieve uniform, consistent coverage. For best results, apply PMS 2025 C over a smooth, well-primed surface. Applying the color over neutral, light-toned primers can help reach target brightness and minimize visible surface variation. Be prepared to apply more coats than you would with less saturated or darker colors to achieve the desired visual intensity and evenness in brand or display environments.

Do I need a primer when applying Pantone PMS 2025 C paint?

Whether a primer is needed with Pantone PMS 2025 C depends on your substrate, the type of paint, and project requirements. Using a primer improves adhesion and can prevent uneven color, especially with highly saturated colors like PMS 2025 C. Primers are strongly recommended on bare wood, metal, plastic, or any previously unpainted surface. A white or light-colored primer will help PMS 2025 C appear more vivid and may reduce the number of color coats needed. Review the product instructions for specific guidance on priming for your paint and substrate type.

How quickly will I receive my paint matched to Pantone PMS 2025 C?
All paint is custom-made to order. While most orders ship within 48 hours, the lead-time for paint made to match Pantone PMS 2025 C depends on the type of paint needed. Interior and exterior house paints usually ship within 1 to 3 business days, while custom spray paint typically takes 3-5 business days to ship. The transit time depends on your location and the shipping method you choose. If your need is immediate, select Expedited Production during checkout. Most expedited production orders ship within 24 hours on business days. Please contact MyPerfectColor if you are concerned about a specific deadline. We do our best to make sure you get your paint on time. Learn more about paint lead times at MyPerfectColor.
Can I use the Pantone PMS 2025 C for touch up?

Unfortunately, no.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

How do I convert PMS 2025 C to a different color from another paint company?

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 2025 C in paint, we don't provide any crossover information.
