PMS 2013 C is part of the Pantone Matching System (PMS), a global standard for color communication in marketing, display fabrication, and industrial design. This color conveys a vibe that is energetic, technical, luminous, and contemporary, with a distinct presence. It is used for consistent brand specification, especially in contexts where a precise and vivid yellow-green is necessary. This color’s role is to deliver high visual clarity and recognition in branded environments and prototype displays.
PMS 2013 C appears as a distinctly medium-light yellow-green. The color exhibits moderate lightness (LRV 43.72), providing noticeable vibrancy without being overly pale. PMS 2013 C leans warm due to a dominant yellow component with evident green influence, situating it between yellow and chartreuse. The saturation is high, resulting in a vivid and clean effect that stands out on most backgrounds. The undertone is predominantly warm-yellow with a secondary green component, making it visible in branded and retail environments. The color can exhibit changes in visual intensity depending on the surface texture and finish, with glossier finishes often amplifying the perceived brightness.
PMS 2013 C functions best in settings demanding clear brand distinction, such as trade show displays, retail fixtures, or branded prototypes. For accurate results, confirm color appearance under the final lighting conditions and finish, as this color’s vibrancy may appear stronger or softer based on gloss and environmental variables. Highly saturated green-yellows such as PMS 2013 C may require multiple coats for complete visual uniformity, especially over contrasting substrates; appropriate surface prep and priming are recommended to optimize coverage and color fidelity. Compared to similar yellow-green PMS colors, PMS 2013 C is slightly muted in lightness, making it neither too pastel nor overly deep.
This Pantone PMS color is defined by the Pantone Matching System standard. Evaluate the color using a physical Pantone reference and a real paint sample in the intended lighting and finish. Paint appearance varies by finish and lighting.

When you order PMS 2013 C as paint, you are requesting a color match to the Pantone PMS 2013 C standard. The Pantone Matching System defines PMS 2013 C as a visual color target, not a specific paint formula or finish. This means the product is custom-matched to visually match the Pantone reference under standard conditions, but actual color appearance can vary depending on finish, substrate, and lighting. Ordering PMS 2013 C does not specify application process, gloss level, or material formulation. Always review a physical Pantone sample and final paint sample in your environment before full-scale use.
To achieve an accurate result with PMS 2013 C matched paint, start by cleaning the surface to remove dust, grease, and contaminants. Lightly scuff glossy or slick surfaces to promote paint adhesion, if appropriate for the material. Use a quality primer, especially when covering contrasting base colors, as highly saturated shades like PMS 2013 C may require multiple coats for uniform color. Before full application, do a test spot on your substrate and evaluate coverage and appearance under expected lighting conditions.
For accurate evaluation of PMS 2013 C color samples, view the painted sample and a physical Pantone reference under the same lighting and on the same substrate type. Make sure the paint is fully dry or cured before comparing, since wet paint and unfinished coatings may look different. Use consistent angles and background so environmental factors do not affect the assessment. Always document the conditions of your review process for future reference or brand approval workflows.
The sheen or finish you select for PMS 2013 C can impact how the color is perceived. Higher gloss finishes amplify brightness and saturation, making the yellow-green more vivid, while matte or satin finishes soften the effect and reduce light reflection. Consider the viewing distance, substrate material, and brand intent when choosing a sheen. For projects demanding high visual impact, glossier finishes may highlight PMS 2013 C''s vibrancy, but always test first to confirm that the chosen sheen achieves the right look under your installation conditions.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 2013 C in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
